Danny Ings - Leaving Liverpool?

Recommended Posts

Danny Ings will leave Liverpool in search of first-team football this summer, Sky Sports News understands

Liverpool wanted Ings to stay at the club and offered him a new long-term deal but the 25-year-old has decided to leave in order to play regular football after an injury-blighted spell on Merseyside.

The striker managed just six Premier League starts in the last three years.

Ings rejected moves in the last three transfer windows and has been linked with several Premier League clubs including Tottenham and former club Burnley, as well as RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen in Germany and Inter Milan in Italy.

Fair play to him for wanting regular football. Just not good enough for us though. I'm amazed at some of the clubs mentioned there that are linked with him though. He'll surely end up at a lower mid table side at best or one of the new promoted teams

Would love him here but cannot see it happening as I'd imagine the fee and wages requested will be too high, plus it's a risk considering his injury record.

I like the bloke but he's shockingly out of his depth here.

I reckon he probably ends up back at Burnley.

He'll be successful elsewhere. Better  player than we realise.

Good luck to him.
