nudge Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Klaassen is so class... Still can't believe we managed to sign him.

SchalkeUK Posted September 25, 2018 Author Posted September 25, 2018 OK so now the Green men are second and as all the BL games are live in the UK this mid-week I can now go to Freiburg - no Naldo so no defence and Di Santo is getting his bottom smacked in the tunnel and not allowed even on the bench. His outburst on Saturday was worth watching as it confirmed he was dropped out od sight which should have been done a long time ago, but tonight will be the usual disorganised garbage from Tedesco before his job is in serious doubt! 04 have a habit of changing managers (21 since 200 so it could be 22 soon!) Hi Ho!
nudge Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Just now, Tommy said: Surely feels like early to mid 2000s...
SchalkeUK Posted September 25, 2018 Author Posted September 25, 2018 With Teuchert in front taking over from Burgstaller nothing has changed - his first touch was offside - just like the Austrian always is and the defence is already pathetic - lucky that Freiburg seem not to be able to shoot at the moment - now read on!
SchalkeUK Posted September 25, 2018 Author Posted September 25, 2018 Two of the brightest youngsters at 04 are now going backwards - Embolo and Harit were fine when they arrived. It seems that they have lost all confidence and desire the way they are playing - the best and only shot came for the full back! and Fahrman is is greater danger from his defence than he is from Freiburg forwards. Still it's 0-0 in Augsburg so not much better there!
SchalkeUK Posted September 25, 2018 Author Posted September 25, 2018 Commentator says it came out of nothing - perhaps he was referring to the huge wide open spaces between the first attempt and the keeper - 1-0 to Freiburg.
SchalkeUK Posted September 25, 2018 Author Posted September 25, 2018 Another 1-0 defeat and there has to be some serious thinking done before Mainz show what they can do this weekend. There appears to be no quality at all in the system at present and good players are getting worse. Bad players are still being selected and Freiburg's defensive record this season has been poor - still they kept a clean sheet. Bentaleb is ruining the middle with no idea of what to do or how to help his forwards and the mid-field must be sorted. There are better players still on the books but they are not even on the bench. Tedesco will lose his job if he persists using his favorites who are letting him down every game. Time to seriously look at the whole squad and not those in his little luvvie group!
Devil-Dick Willie Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Finally a performance i'm proud of. berlin are no mugs and we dispatched the with ease. On the Pavlena botch it was pretty bad, but if you watch the replay the striker shapes to cross, and Pavlenka is in the perfect position. The striker changes his mind, lets the ball run another meter or two, ad Pavlenka doesn't adjust. Schoolboy, but that's how he was caught out.
Devil-Dick Willie Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 No. The teams who have the raw talent and roster to capitalize hae their own problems. Only us and Hertha are in touching distance, and Bayern will destroy us at their convinience, with a referee of their choosing
nudge Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 BVB have a game in hand though, and they'll be just behind Bayern again if they beat Nürnberg tonight. That said, I can't see anyone else than Bayern winning the league haha.
Administrator Stan Posted September 26, 2018 Administrator Posted September 26, 2018 @Tommy how do you fancy your chances against Leverkusen?
Administrator Stan Posted September 26, 2018 Administrator Posted September 26, 2018 Two good chances for Dusseldorf. They play some pretty good football!
nudge Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 Good chance for Leverkusen too! Kohr a bit too late.
Relling Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 Strong Half by Fortuna. Leverkusen bleak.
nudge Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 With the players at their disposal, Leverkusen have been embarrassing so far this season. I know they are eternal underachievers, but I think Heiko Herrlich really fails to deliver.
Relling Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 Yes. I do not see him lasting the season. The players seem unfit without fighting spirit or conviction in their offence.
Administrator Stan Posted September 26, 2018 Administrator Posted September 26, 2018 Goal Leverkusen. Poor marking from a corner.

Administrator Stan Posted September 26, 2018 Administrator Posted September 26, 2018 Dusseldorf went a bit flat in the 2nd half. Think the goal affected them a lot and then the 2nd goal killed them off. Never really got in to the rhythm they showed in the first half which is a shame as they played some nice stuff and were arguably the better team.
Administrator Stan Posted September 26, 2018 Administrator Posted September 26, 2018 Minimal contact there but penalty given and well taken by Hemmings!
