Andrea Pirlo is set to be announced as the new head coach of Turkish Süper Lig team Fatih Karagümrük.

His time at Juventus was clearly a case of too much too soon for him. Think Agnelli was suduced by the success of Zidane and Guardiola had when taking over at Real Madrid and Barcelona, but at least they had some experience from coaching at youth level beforehand. Whereas Pirlo was set for that, with the Juventus U23s in the lower leagues of Italian football, before being thrust into the first team far too soon.

His squad will already consist of a few Italians, and a few players with Serie A experience. So will not be totally unfamiliar to him.
