Another massive result for Newcastle today. Nice to see them getting 6 points in just a few days,

I didn't watch a ton of Newcastle before Miguel's arrival, but they look very dangerous on the attack these past two matches, and could have put a lot more goals in the net than they actually did. Not totally in the clear in terms of relegation, but another 6 -8 points and I feel like they would certainly be in the clear.

Next two matches against West Ham and Everton, Getting 2-3 points from these two matches would be great.

Rafa working his magic. In a mini league with the bottom 8 we haven't lost to anyone.

What truly captures Rafa's work is Isaac Hayden. He wanted away at the start of the season for family reasons. He couldn't get anywhere near the team and when he did a few months ago he looked like he was struggling, particularly mentally. Fast forward to now and he's playing with a smile on his face and in excellent form.

If the form we are in holds up we could make it to around 45 points.

Question - What's the story with Longstaff? With his goal yesterday, the English announcers here were going nuts talking about how special of a moment this is for him? Injury issue? Local hero?

Because he's local and young probably. Made his Premier League debut on boxing day and within a few games looked like he's been playing at this level for 5 years. Hope it continues and that he will just keep getting better. There's a lot of promise but the hype is incredibly fast.

Is he the new Gazza yet?

National pundits are calling him Carrick, whether because they know Carrick is a Geordie or not I don't know.

The thing is Isaac Hayden looks good at the minute as well.
