The Artful Dodger Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Nobody cares about this? Watford have put out a very weakened side, one eye on next week I imagine but seems strange to me, can't they manage two games in a week?
Inverted Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 City seem oddly threatened by a second string Watford side considering how intent they seem on hacking them out of the game.
Happy Blue Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 They have come for a draw, going to be a loooong Evening
The Artful Dodger Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Manchester City will find a way second half, they always do. Dreadful game though.
Happy Blue Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Nothing wrong with that defender kicks it on to Sterling
Administrator Stan Posted March 9, 2019 Author Administrator Posted March 9, 2019 Sounds like that goal should not have been given. 'a mile offside' apparently, according to Talksport commentators.
Inverted Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Ridiculously shady. I always support the idea of VAR but it's potential to "correct" the results of games is quite dangerous.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted March 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted March 9, 2019 City very lucky there. Very clear offside, VAR never allows that.

Administrator Stan Posted March 9, 2019 Author Administrator Posted March 9, 2019 2-0. Floodgates opening?
The Artful Dodger Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 As long as we stop hearing from the tedious London/Mancunian media about how Liverpool get all the decisions from now on.

The defender played Sterling onside, the call to give the goal was correct

The Artful Dodger Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Sterling is the pedro (barca era) of this Manchester City side.

Inverted Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Aguero flicks the ball onto Sterling who is offside, and the moment he attempts to reach the ball, even before the defender touches it, immediately that should be him offside. It is possible to interpret that situation so as to allow the goal, but only if you are extremely intent on it. The straightforward interpretation is no goal every day of the week.
Inverted Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 It reflects hilariously on English football culture that this is who most fans desperately want to win league.

Me and the Officials and the other football experts don't agree with you .. defender kicks the ball at Sterling then the ball ends up in the net 1-0
