Quote [RTL] Horner is said to have drawn a clear line in the sand and ensured that the employee in question can no longer be near him. According to RTL's information, he is said to have paid her a severance payment of 700,000 euros. Red Bull is said to have increased the sum to one million. RTL knows: Horner had an affair with his assistant for years - and thereby put his family, which was at least outwardly perfect, at risk. The Brit has been married to the former pop star and girl group member since May 2015. They have a son together: Montague George was born on January 21, 2017. Now, however, Horner is said to have drawn a clear line in the sand and ensured that the employee in question can no longer be near him. According to RTL information, he is said to have paid her a severance payment of 700,000 euros. Red Bull is said to have increased the sum to one million. The termination and the mega payment have not been officially confirmed - Red Bull has so far left a request from RTL unanswered. But it means that the matter should be finally off the table. The case recently developed into a soap opera: for weeks, Horner was accused of having behaved in a “cross-border” manner towards the employee who reported to him. An external law firm took on the matter and, after a thorough investigation, ruled: Horner should be cleared of the allegations and allowed to remain in office . And the ordeal for the marriage also seemed to be over: Horner and Halliwell strolled through the paddock at the Bahrain Grand Prix last weekend as if they were newly in love. But behind the scenes the tone is said to have been much rougher! British media reported an ultimatum from the wife for Horner and new strict ground rules for the relationship. This is all pretty fucked up. But back in the day he cheated on his then pregnant wife with Geri, so what did she expect?

Administrator Stan 18,383 Posted 21 hours ago Administrator Share Posted 21 hours ago Adrian Newey leaving RB Quote Red Bull design chief Adrian Newey is to leave the team in the wake of the controversy involving allegations about team principal Christian Horner. Newey, regarded as the greatest Formula 1 designer in history, has told Red Bull he wants to move on, BBC Sport has learned. The 65-year-old has been unsettled by the situation at Red Bull since Horner was accused of sexual harassment and coercive, abusive behaviour by a female employee, which Horner denies. Red Bull and Newey did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ 7,662 Posted 20 hours ago Subscriber Share Posted 20 hours ago If Ferrari sign both Hamilton and Newey in the space of a few months... I wonder if this has anything to do with the Horner scandal or whether that was a factor at all. I hope it is. Karma. Ideally for the fans, Newey will just retire from F1 and let us have actual competition but it sounds like he has a move lined up.

After so many banter years they finally seem to be making logical decisions.

Lewis switching from McLaren to Mercedes, everyone calling it a bad move until Mercedes become dominant and he won 6 titles with them. Hamilton moves to Ferrari, and they might get Adrian Newey. Imagine if it's another team move that turns out golden.
