I feel for Kubica but at the end of the day he has been bringing the car home and one of the deciding factors behind bringing him in was his feedback on car development, and I know it would be hard for them not to develop considering how bad their starting point was, but they have developed the car well throughout the year. His pace has been poor and that is ultimately the important thing for a racing driver but he has made a positive contribution to the team. If they go with Russell and Latifi next year you don't know whether they will struggle to develop the car effectively.

Kubica after the race: "Problems with front vibrations on the first tyre set, second pit stop after adventures in the first chicane - brake pedal fell into the floor." :4_joy:

Ffs is the Williams car like some kind of kit car now xD

It's as if it's some amateurs just having a go at racing or like they've won some competition to be part of the F1 experience for the season.

I thought if Kubica had time he'd be winning the championship within next couple of years but he's leaving Williams now at the end of the season...

Going to DTM with Audi next year, most likely. Sensible decision to leave; he has been struggling throughout the whole season and there's just no point to continue like that.

Someone's dad bought a seat again.

Isn't everyone 'bought' in to the sport now at this level?

Hamilton was saying on the Jonathan Ross show last week that it's virtually impossible to not make it in to F1 now without heavy financial backing. And he wants to change that to give poorer kids a chance to make it from early on - otherwise talent gets missed purely on affordability.

Desperate for those Shekels. :D

Haha. They really are desperate. Nissany didn't even have a drive in any series this season...

By that rate Raghunathan will join them in a year or two

He's a fast cunt.

He must have a significant financial backing as well.

To be fair he struggled with finding sponsors and ran a blank car during testing and for a very long time it looked like he wouldn't even be able to pay for a seat in F2. The guy's no pay driver. The money probably comes from Gelael now that they're teammates; he has always supported his teammates financially.

So it's Ticktum, Chadwick, Nissany and now Aitken. Williams quite clever with their choices of development drivers, imo.

:D I forgot Keke Rosberg. :(

Me too. I got 13, missed Keke, Boutsen and one of the other single race winners.
