I heard it was because you conceded more goals than any other top four club ever has? Could be wrong though?!

We’ve also created the most chances in the league bar Man City, yet our conversion rate has been abysmal. Leaving more pressure on the defence and conceding goals when we should’ve already killed the game off.

Yeah but that doesn't discount the defence could be better?
Cicero
Just now, Stan said: Yeah but that doesn't discount the defence could be better? It could. Hence Chilwell, Potentially Silva and a new GK. Our creation/conversion rate is the bigger issue, as data has shown. Too many times we fail to convert our chances which led to us dropping points. Yeah but not scoring doesn't automatically mean you'll concede at the other end? It's just more likelier you'll concede with a poor defence (getting Chilwell in won't really improve that. Silva & a new GK would, granted). Who's the goal-keepers you've been linked with/could sign?

For us, that’s virtually been the case all season and it’s accurately supported by the data. Every single match day thread you’ll see either myself or Bluewolf stating we need to finish the game off or we’ll get punished. Which has been the case the majority of the season. Fix the attack and have match winners all over the pitch is the route Lampard is opting for. Failing to convert our chances only increased the pressure on our defenders, particularly the GK who is statistically the worse in Europe’s top 5 leagues. Onana from Ajax has been the one we’ve been linked with.

Lucas
Hope Gabriel 2.0 is better than the first Gabriel they had. Absolute liability that bloke was so in fairness the bar is pretty low.
