  1. Thanks! Kruger Park is a must. Yeah, I wanted to just do Lesotho but I'm not going to spend a couple thousand dollars to do a weekend trip. And my dad used to live in South Africa when he was young so that definitely cannot be missed!
  2. Have you been to the interior? I want to go as far as Tataouine and see the Sahara if I go. Well aware it's bliztering hot, and I am not as good in the heat as I am in the cold
  3. Anywhere on the east if possible, because if I go I'd like to do a trip where I visit Lesotho and Eswatini.
  4. There's no point planning now, but I really want to do Africa when this whole pandemic ends. Rwanda is a country I'm keen on, but other options include South Africa/Lesotho/Swaziland, Tunisia, Ghana, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
  5. HE'S HERE! Welcome home Fyre!
  6. Speaking of that, I started playing Digimon World on the PS1. The game is extremely flawed and practically impossible to go anywhere without a guide. It's very unique though and has a charm. It's one of the only RPG's I've seen that's a mix of a simulation game and a virtual pet at the same time. Once you have the guide in front of you, it's loads of fun to grind and hope you will digivolve into what you want. It's a shame no more Digimon games were made like this because it really saves it from the "Pokemon knockoff" reputation it has gained. I started with Gabumon and managed to digivolve into Ogremon. I actually tried the game first with Agumon but it digivolved into the worst possible form as a result of treating it poorly. So I started again.
  7. Pokemon is great, I never got the mentality that it's "just for kids". Just a result of people thinking it's too anime-like. I've never seen this happen to Mario for example. I love Call of Duty as well, but I agree with Bluebird. I would rather play Pokemon over it.
  8. Gonna be completely honest with you, I've never even heard of the place I've never been to New Brunswick either. I would love to go to St Pierre and Miquelon though which is a french overseas territory. If you want my opinion on the Canadian cities I've been: Quebec City: Most European city in the country. It's a really sound place and architecturally brilliant Toronto: Most North American City in the country. It's a wonderful place to live but it's kind of overshadowed by New York in my opinion. Vancouver: Gave me real Auckland vibes. It's so similar as there's nowhere near as many people on the streets as Toronto, and quite a calm place in general. Terrace: You can insert any town of similar stature in BC here really. I went to visit a friend and I loved it, but it's definitely not "unique". I heard the best town of this type in BC is Kelowna. Iqaluit: Damn expensive, but it's the closest you'll get to an arctic feel with natives and a completely different culture. It's also quite a nice town in itself. Montreal: Overrated in my opinion, but still not a bad place. Winnipeg: Absolute shithole. Hamilton: Also a bit of a shithole but the main downtown is nice and has a lot of cool stores. If you stop by Toronto I would recommend checking it out. Niagara Falls: Way better on the Canadian side. The USA side is a massive shithole. It's really an amusement park, lots of games and things to do here just without the roller coasters. Gaspesie: Out in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful place to go to if you want to get away from the more urbanized Quebec City or Montreal. Kind of like Terrace. Not as obscure but more out in the sticks I'd say. Ottawa: It's basically our own Washington DC. I'm not including suburbs mind or towns in the GTA area that are really all the same. Hamilton isn't a suburb so I included them.
  9. I've been on many bus trips in South America and it depends on the roads you take. it can be dangerous admittedly but some of the scenery seen in the Andes can be breathtaking. The roads in Peru are surprisingly solid. They are just a bit long and of course can be dangerous in the mountains itself. Argentina and Chile's roads I'm sure are solid, where as in Brazil they are a mess. I remember when I crossed the Peru-Brazil border, the highway was full of holes after where as in Peru they were impeccable.
  10. Quebec City and Halifax. I love Toronto but there's nothing really unique about it.
  11. One of my dream trips this is.
  12. Yeah I agree, and that is precisely my fear because going to Peru now will be stupidly expensive. It's usually $600 CAD from Toronto.
  13. It's different for every country, but it's mostly bus travel. Colombia you must fly though. The roads there are the worst in South America, and the mountain terrain is pretty rough so the only option there is flying really.
  14. Trump and Bolsonaro have been the worst leaders in this whole thing. They are just insanely arrogant and ignorant. Even Nicolas Maduro figured it out. And if I have anything good to say about Maduro, then you have a big problem.
  15. I swear we are the only country to arrest all of our presidents as well as Super Mario.
  16. Speaking of Kel, did any other originally banned members come back? Just me, Teso and Kel wasn't it?
  17. Reading this as well as Twitter about the discipline in the UK, it makes me feel a bit better about Peru's society.
  18. He was being serious. I know this because he beared a lot of resemblance to third worlders in Peru. Those that can't spell and would rather die than admit they are wrong. Agendas that they would just not give up on.

Happy birthday @Dan! I made a Bday present for you. Here it is!
  20. Hell, I can even credit Chile for being disciplined. Less so than Argentina but that's because of the ongoing protests. I went to a hostel last time I was in Peru and a Chilean told me things would kick off again in March. They did for a bit before Covid19 exploded there. Now cases have slowed tremendously. Not only that but the death rate is comparable to Germany.
  21. I'm expecting Peru to surpass Canada today in cases. Watching the Peruvian news, it's actually depressing the situation that's going on over there. The difference between us and Argentina is that despite all their issues in the last 20 years, their people are still disciplined. Hence their low cases. Peruvians just do whatever they want. It's out of control.
  22. Peru is about to surpass Canada in cases. Looks like I was lucky to get out in the end. I hope my family and friends are OK
