Canada - Trudeau admits it could be weeks before shutdown measures are lifted Ecuador - Cases have slowed down, but authorities admit the official deaths could well be higher than 475. Brazil: Bolsonaro wants to appoint new minister to confront pandemic.

Angel Romero better than Edison Flores

Right, EA is having a laugh. With the Libertadores added in, they gave Binacional's Eder Fernandez an in form card. HE IS 84 RATED!!! To put that into perspective, Yerry Mina, Pepe and Boateng are all 84 rated. To put more context into it, Neymar was an 85 back in FIFA 13. Apparently Jorge Wilstermann also got an 84 rated card, also a CB And people wonder why I say EA has no scouting team. In form or not, 84 is just hilarious.

I'm actually not entirely sure what the purpose is to be honest unless there's some sort of science behind it. While I agree with most of the measurements the government is taking, I don't really understand this one entirely. I just know we're not the only country deploying it. After looking into it a bit more, it's because Vizcarra thinks the previous measures were "not what he'd hoped for" and it's to get fewer people out at once. I can't say it makes sense even with that explanation. Some people, including my family have complained about it.

Basically women can only go out on some days and men on the others. On Sunday nobody can go out. I think the only others who are doing it are the Panamanians.

He won't join for another 2 years cos he's 16 anyways but after that I reckon he'll be loaned about a lot. As long as they are clubs in top European leagues I don't mind it. We don't have enough players in Europe these days.
-
Developing in League One is better than developing at Alianza Lima, to be brutally honest. I don't think he'll end up that low though. He could either be another Marlos Moreno (get loaned to secondary European sides like Girona or Getafe constantly) or a Zinchenko (Develop and then debut). The former looks more likely if you were to ask me, but I'm excited nevertheless. We never have players signed by City, Barcelona and the likes.

-
I hope he stays at City. Even if he will never play, I want him to join them, develop for a few years then move on to another team in Europe. Similar to Paolo Guerrero when he was at Bayern. Obviously my biggest hope is he debuts and becomes a regular for City but it seems a bit unlikely given their track record with these signings. So I am staying realistic. My guess is he'll be loaned to New York City FC to start off.

OFFICIAL He's joined. I am extremely excited about this transfer!

Recoveries in Peru have risen by about 3000! Now it's at 6000 which is half of the total cases. Some good news! It's almost like the government knew that people would disobey the lockdown so they focused on testing and trying to save lives in the best way they could.
-
11,475 cases 110,000 tests 98,000 negative 254 dead 3108 discharged 1113 hospitalized Recovery rate still looks promising, but it's a blooming shame the population went in panic mode.
-
Poor Loreto they also have a Dengue outbreak ongoing.
-
Happening in some parts of Lima as well, unsurprisingly. Hence why our cases are rising so rapidly now.
-
That's true but looking at the news and seeing some of the poorer districts being flooded with panic buyers or protesters is genuinely worrying.
-
Perú now has the most cases in Latinamerica besides Brazil. The government is doing their best. No fault in them at all. Your average Peruvian civilian has not done their job though, population density also killed us here.
-
On another note, today I finish my self-isolation. I obviously don't plan to go out but at least now I am able to go to the groceries myself and not have to rely on others. It's walking distance from me so it could count as exercise.

And the long lines return

Yeah, I corrected myself later. I was wrong. Most likely because of similar reasons though. I looked into it a bit more and apparently people flood the markets at the start of every week in order to have enough for the week. Results in things like this.
-
Look above. It's not the first time this shit happens in some of the poorer districts. No discipline from the civilian. Maybe not during the week because of the fish market, if so I'm especially worried about next week or two. We have amongst the most testing kits in the continent (which surprised me when I learned about that). We are 4th behind Chile, Brazil and Colombia according to sources. I just find it weird that the cases rose so much overnight but it's more than likely due to those protest attempts in the poorer districts the other week.
-
Nah I was using a figure of speech. They were confirmed yesterday not over night I'm pretty sure. Seems strange that the cases rose so suddenly during a lockdown, but the discipline of the civilian is extremely low. In the poorer areas of the countries streets have been flooded more than once. Just this week it has been a bit over the top.
-
Maybe read and you'll see that I said "the markets were flooded with people" . Streets being flooded means more risk of people catching the virus if someone asymptomatic/infected outright was there
-
So the president in Peru has said that no one can leave the house under any circumstance today or tomorrow due to holidays. As a result, the ultra religious people flood the markets for fish. This has resulted in our cases rising by 2000 overnight. We've basically caught up to Ecuador now. Complete idiots. Things were looking OK up to yesterday.
