This, this and this again. Personally I think it's mad that people think I succeeded in "begging" the staff to ban Teso. I have done it in the past many times, but as has been seen time and time again, I have no power and will never have it. In this situation, I didn't even provoke him, or say anything. Teso's behaviour was unacceptable all the time. In fact, he should have been banned back in 2017. He's had far too many chances, suspensions and post previews and still nothing changed. Not only that but he got banned for the exact same reasons on the old forum. As far as I know, that was almost TEN YEARS AGO! Then he came back under a dynamic IP and got banned again as soon as Rab knew it was him. He is an utter scumbag and that's why he was never going to get along with anyone. As for the gun pictures, again I had little to do with it. I didn't provoke him and tried to stay quiet in that PM. He just started throwing around insults and then he started with the death threats. It doesn't matter if he was serious or not, it's illegal to do that shit. It's an actual fellony. What if you point a gun at a police officer as a joke? What if you say you have bombs as a joke right before your flight? Are authorities pussies as well in that case? I'm sorry but the only thing that could have been done was a permanent ban. I've had to deal with him since 2015 and I could see immediately that he wouldn't last on here. It just took longer than I thought it would. Anyone crying about his ban needs to pull up their thongs because he's utter scum as a human. He got away with so many xenophobic, homophobic and disparaging comments towards Women. He also called me a "depressed bellend" on more than one occasion. If I recall, Makarios got banned for that very reason. The staff had been way too generous with him.

Yeah for sure. My favourite Spanish music comes from the Dominican Republic, but objectively I'd say Argentina and Uruguay has the best music in Latinamerica.

An update on my two countries Some Canadian provinces like Saskatchewan have reopened. Ontario and Quebec still under a certain level of shutdown, but it's natural given those are the two most affected provinces. I have criticized Trudeau and the Premiers a lot, but they managed to turn things around after a slow response at first. Well done. Peru on the other hand... yikes. I still massively support the governmental decisions but people still breaking the lockdown. In a very densely populated city like Lima doesn't help things. Cases have been rising lots in the last 2 weeks and I sadly expect them to keep going up for a bit longer if this behavior from the citizens goes on. At least the death toll is still low compared to what it could be.

I mean there does exist a rivalry within us and Chile but that's not the point. Chile was poor pre-Pinochet. They had serious issues in the 1960's and 1970's. They are completely different to Argentina who have always been closer to Europe than South America when it came to development. I like to poke fun at Chile a lot, but most South American countries should aspire to become what they have become. They still have social issues but are arguably the most developed country in South America now. That is a radical change compared to the past. Peru has developed lots in the last 30 years but not quite to the extent of Chile and I reckon it's because of the society. We have always been behind the Chileans in that regard.

Again, I've been avoiding this thread. However, cases in Peru have risen rapidly over the last 2 weeks and I am now worried about my family and friends. Around 41,000 cases now. I'm also seeing photos from my friends who are asking "what quarantine" showcasing all the people in the streets. For reasons like this, we will never become as developed as Chile have done in my lifetime.

That's a possibility, another one is that it's arrived via pilots delivering goods. Keep in mind this is one of the most isolated areas in the world. No roads to Nunavut and water is frozen this time a year (or at least will be unfrozen soon).
