  1. In fairness you said similar about Bayern not being favourites for De Ligt and he’s joining now
  2. Right back or left back drops in to a back 3 if need be.
  3. 3 man midfield, Fernandes push forward and Eriksen drift to the left.
  4. Eriksen should be good alongside Martinez no?
  5. You’d think if anyone would get the best out of him it would be a high level coach who coaches good attacking football.

Nearly 40 degrees on Monday and Tuesday. I used to do a day labour in that in North Queensland and that was the heat by 8am. With that said you could always stop off in a room that has aircon, where as buildings in Britain are built to retain heat so it will feel even hotter than 40.

Up Liverpool for a wedding. 30+ degrees in London before I travelled up and then it’s down to a frosty 19 degrees here. Bring back the heat.
  8. Phillips is the starting DM, Rice will play alongside him. Maddison doesn’t make the team as he’s not versatile enough defensively and currently in this England midfield you have to be defensive minded at least partially.
  9. Just change teams mate, goes down a treat
  10. Aye but that has been the reality for fans of other clubs for decades now, and a lot of them are in the Championship or League 1
  11. You finished 6th last season Philly Willy. Things are much worse for other fans
  12. And our fans are complaining our tickets went up by a 5er lol. That’s mental

    Euro 2024

Would be cool to go over and just go to some of the fan parks.
  14. Starmer pledging to block a referendum for Scottish Independence. I do feel for the Scotland in that one of the key elements of the last referendum was that we'd still be in the EU, can see why they'd want to do it again especially after this mess. With that said I don't trust Sturgeon one bit and once the opposition of Westminster is taken out of the equation in Scottish politics I don't think Scotland as a country will drastically improve in the way pro-independence politicians make out that it will. Scotland is a mostly Liberal country yes, but given time they will have their own conservative style governments come in and that will change the political landscape there drastically. Especially considering over 50% of Scots wanted to stay in the Union last time, as we've seen with Brexit it doesn't take long for people to change their mind after drastic change.
  15. You would struggle to find a more condescending person anywhere. Massive arsehole
  16. England truly is a mad old country. Reading an article on the BBC about someone wanting Javid and Sunak as leaders of the country....they have all been involved in this absolute sack of shit. Countless lies, law breaking and efforts to break the basic human rights of refugees. There is an irony in them resigning over someone who has previous for sexual harassment being given a job by Johnson but no one raising an eyebrow at the Rwanda deal, which was directly inspired by Australia's efforts on Manus Island....which was a human rights clusterfuck.
  17. Not to mention selling Toure and bring Busquets through. The Barcelona board really let themselves down forcing moves like Fabregas, they could have built a team with Pep that lasted a decade.
  18. The disrespect Pep gets for putting together two of the greatest teams to have ever played the game at Barce is genuinely mental. Not to mention the season he took over they had just finished 3rd on 67 points. And then he goes and makes history as the first Spanish side to ever win a treble.
  19. I think minimum is £100m? That’s what the play offs are always marked as anyway
  20. If we sign these two players its about a combined £30m-£40m spent. Take into account we spent £30m last season, we are managing our money really well and bringing in players that all have the ability to go for x1.5 or x2.0 of the amount we signed them for.
  21. Aaron Hickey and Keane Lewis-Potter due to join the club is very good business imo. One of our biggest weaknesses last season was having somebody who could play right back consistently. Kristofer Ajer worked it out towards the end of the season and both Sergi Canos and Mads Roerslev had good spells but neither were up to playing regularly. Hickey coming in means that Ajer can play centre back more often, but also gives us cover if Rico Henry gets injured at LWB. Lewis-Potter will make a good squad addition. We now have 4 first team forwards which is good depth for the season. I’d still like to see another forward if we’re playing with a front 3. Now just to wait on Christian Eriksen’s decision and work our midfield out from there.
  22. Waited for him to sign for Bayern and done the week of mourning before putting this out lol
  23. Ben Ryan, former Rugby Union player and famed Fiji Rugby 7s coach has taken up a role as our Director of Elite Performance. If his success in Rugby translates well into this role then we are not fucking about.
  24. Listened to Nedum Onuoha talking about the Aguero goal recently and the weird shouts of corruption at the time, think maybe Rooney said something recently? Onuoha speaks really well and comes across as pretty intelligent.
