Good squad overall, some good additions in Trent, Dunk, Eze, Maddison and Wilson. Honestly don’t get the hype behind Gallagher, I’d prefer a relegated Ward-Prowse. Can see why Tomori hasn’t been picked, Serie A fans and pundits have mentioned all season about how his form has dipped off from last season.

No mate it happens because footballers are allowed to try and intimidate and abuse refs, but then it happens at clubs where managers encourage it even more, as seen with Robertson and Klopp there. Pure and simple thats why Robertson has felt he can try and bully someone like that. It is pathetic and is one of the few things about the actual 90 minutes of football I hate watching

Robertson makes a b line for the ref from a distance, storms towards him and puts his face into the refs face and starts screaming. If that happens randomly on the street anyone would lift their elbow up, but because it’s a ref on a football pitch they’re expected to let footballers try and intimidate them. 100% this. The ref threw his elbow back because his personal space was purposely being encroached and had some nutter screaming at him, it pure and simple Robertson trying to intimidate him. The ref shouldn’t have thrown the elbow but it’s easily understandable as to why given the circumstances, Robertson should be punished for approaching the ref like that just like most players should be every game. Klopp deserves a ban much the same

I 100% think we'd sell for £70m regardless with only two years left on his deal. I think Ivan is still underrated and does a lot more than just benefit from a direct style of football. If he goes to a club that can continually create chances through possession on the wings he will bang goals in for fun. Not to mention the chances he will create dropping deep, the flexibility he will give to a teams style of play and also his outrageous defensive output.

Wait to see what the club make of the published reasons, but yet again the FA leaked information to Sky yesterday.

Chelsea need to sell around ten players in the Summer, not sure they even have the luxury of being able to keep the players they want if the right bids come in for them.

A lot of the ban should occur over the Summer. But someone who needs goals in the Prem. Honestly I’m happy if he stays and we sell for £50m next Summer.

He has 2 years left on his contract so I reckon the fee will be around £70m-£80m personally. The current precedent for a £100m striker is Lukaku who scored 30 odd goals in total for Inter. Then you’re looking at £100m+ for Grealish who has never scored more than 10 goals in a season. Toney has 35 goals and 11 assists across 2 seasons in the Premier League, to put his assists into context this season our second top scorer has 6 goals. I think if he was on a 5 year deal we’re pushing 90-100 but I think we settle somewhere near 80m

As per Thomas Frank. Not sure we will actually get bids that high but thats 20+ goals a season for the next 5+ years at a minimum for whoever pays it

I remember watching Chelsea vs Bournemouth earlier in the season, Mount was so good floating between Bournemouth's outrageously highlines. Obviously he won't get that space at Liverpool but I wonder if having him operate in such a potent counterpress will get the best out of him in terms of goals and assists.

Pontus Jansson to leave Brentford for his boyhood club Malmo in the Summer. Absolute club legend, two play-off finals, one promotion, two seasons in the Premier League and a move to the new stadium to boot. I really liked series 2, thought it was a lot better than the first tbh. For me the first series peaked mid-season with that scene and then it just became a bit ordinary. Season 2 though had me hooked all the way through, I like how rather than turn it into a murder mystery, they use the murder to improve all of the stories that runs around it.

Just finished watching Invasion on Apple TV. It's apparently had middle of the range reviews but I really enjoyed it, liked that it focus' more on the human aspect of an alien invasion rather than going all guns blazing straight off the bat. There were 4 main storylines that the series follows through and I only found one of them difficult to care about, the other 3 were well scripted, interesting and made the prospect of an alien invasion more interesting when you get to view it through different lenses.

Yeah, and in general I am of the opinion that we shouldn’t hold boxers to certain standards when at the same time we’re asking them to mentally prepare to fight for their life. But I think a mixture of his age and the fact that no one really seemed bothered by it is what makes it worse.

It was a really good fight and a KO looked like it was coming when Eubank kept landing those upper cuts. Was a great TKO by Smith. I’ve never been a massive fan of Eubank and came into this wanting Smith to win, but after the homophobia in the presser it ruined the hype around the fight for me. The way Boxxer and Sky have tried to sweep it under the rug too is a shame for the sport.
