Agree with Whiskey on this one @Mpache Take a break for a bit.. Sticking with it trying to fight your corner is just going to leave you feeling more frustrated and that can't be doing you any favours.. Just take a bit of a time out

He has had that since he went in the army.... He used it to dig out over 5 miles of trenches in France alone during the first world war... The imperial war museum has him down as killing 3 people with it when his gun once ran out of bullets..

I remember being out one afternoon walking the dog with the kids and my daughter was bigging me up about how fast I could run to her boyfriend and he started laughing when she suggested I could beat him easy.... so on the way back there is a huge stretch of open ground with one of them big electric pylons at the end so I told him I would race him to it.. We both set off and at first I was ahead because I obviously surprised him then we were neck and neck for a bit then just hitting the last leg and like you a total bottom half collapse... went down like a bag of coal being thrown from a truck .. totally ruined my shirt.... anyway being the sympathetic lot my kids are they all burst out laughing.. I told him I only lost because I must have slipped on dogshit or something.. Sad times...

Bit annoying when you don't hear anything back... Could just be with Covid and people working from home that there is a delay in getting back to you especially as it's the weekend.. This working from home is a nightmare for us still coming in everyday... no bugger ever picks up and when you do e-mail them it takes an age for them to get back to you.. too busy watching Netflix probably
  9. The bloke must have been on crack... Only the captain of the Titanic as had a worse day at sea than this bloke...
  10. What bothers me most about all this money being spent is that nobody seems to care enough to hold anybody to any meaningful account over it?? You get stuff like this being leaked then there is a bit of outrage then when questions are asked but not answered then everything goes quiet until the next thing pops up.. Like where the funding for this house makeover came from for Johnsons girlfriend?? It seems to me as though they get bolder and bolder every day... It used to be a lot sneakier but now it's happening on such a regular basis with nobody controlling it it's like they are just doing what they please when they please... so the rabble make a bit of fuss, ignore them for long enough and they will soon get bored.. It's saddening that this sort of thing and obviously far worse things are being allowed to go unchallenged..

  14. All depends on what floats your boat... with a series unless it's a one off can tend to become a bit samey so it's hard to keep the motivation to keep watching... What I liked about 28 days Later was that it took the traditional lumbering zombie ( where you had enough time to have a picnic before they reached you ) to the ( Can't even stop for a piss, run for your life ) type zombies on steroids... did make them a bit more frightening..
  15. Well you have '28 Weeks Later' The follow up to 28 days, Then 'Dawn of the Dead' ( 2004 ) & 'Land of the Dead' ( 2005 ) but would recommend seeing the original 'Day of the Dead' ( 1985 ) & 'Dawn of the Dead' ( 1979 ) Then you have 'World War Z' (2013 ) with Brad Pitt for more of the crazy fast zombies.. If you like a bit of humour then go with 'Shaun of The Dead' and 'Zombieland' & 'Zombieland Double Tap' And if you wanted to see some old fashioned over the top aussie zombies then I would suggest 'Braindead' ( 1992 ) but expect maximum silliness... Also nearly forgot to mention 'Train to Busan' ( 2016 ) pretty good film from South Korea also a good zombie series for me was 'Kingdom' on Netflix and of course the classic 'Walking Dead' series.. Plenty in between as well...
  16. How many have you seen so far???

  18. Roman Abramovich has defended his record for firing managers and reaffirmed his commitment to the club in a rare interview from the Chelsea owner. Frank Lampard, Chelsea’s record goalscorer, in January became the 10th manager to be sacked by Abramovich during the Russian billionaire’s 18-year reign at Stamford Bridge. Tuchel's start at Chelsea shows Abramovich was right to sack Lampard Thomas Tuchel, the current head coach, is the 14th manager to work under Abramovich and has guided Chelsea back into the top four of the Premier League and into the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in seven years. Asked about Chelsea’s revolving door policy, Abramovich said: “I think we are pragmatic in our choices. And we are comfortable making the right changes at the right time to ensure we can achieve our long-term ambitions. I hope it also says something about the clarity of the long-term ambition of the club. Those who join understand the objectives both on the pitch, as well as the wider positive role the club plays in the community.” Chelsea have won five Premier League titles, the Champions League, two Europa Leagues, five FA Cups and the League Cup three times since Abramovich bought the club in 2003. “I think the trophies speak for themselves and show what we as a club have been able to achieve over these years,” Abramovich told Forbes. “And it’s my goal for us to keep winning trophies going forward and build for the future.” Abramovich has not been to a Chelsea game at Stamford Bridge for over two years and can no longer work in England after deciding not to renew his visa. But he reiterated his commitment to the club, adding: “Chelsea has a very rich history, and I feel extremely fortunate to play a part in that. The club was here before me, and will be here after me, but my job is to ensure we are as successful as we can be today, as well as build for the future. That’s why the success of our academy at Cobham [training ground] is so important to me.”
