  1. That just begs the question what players occupy those wide areas of the pitch.
  2. He’d be taking a pay cut by joining United. He deserves his back salary
  3. I don’t think he is doing that at all. The opposite, it is the principal of the matter, why should he move and not get paid?
  4. My rationale for Bravo is that it was ultimately pointless having signed ter-Stegen. Dembele was terribly overpriced, a complete fleecing. And for de Jong… well Braca tried to sell him, why even sign him?
  5. Also I am partial to the rumours that Pique is rooting Gavi’s mum. Classic Pique, also he looks terrible, like a drug addict.
  6. That brings me to my next point, they have Gavi, Pedri, Gonzalez, de Jong, Busquets, Roberto, Puig, so why sign Kessie? Mephis, Aubameyang, Fati, Dembele, Braithwaite, and Torres. So why sign Raphinha and Lewandowski? You think that, maybe Barca is playing the long game with all those young players but then they go and do this.
  7. That doesn’t sound like he needs to be replaced with €50,000,000. Also Eric Garcia and Mingueza… maybe patience is needed not investment. Not everyone can be like Gavi and Pedri.
  8. Why would they sign Christensen and Koundé? Why did they have to loan out Lenglet? These moves are self-defeating.
  9. It’s not footballers, it’s people. The amount of abusers out there is incredible.
  10. For me, it is stepping one foot outside the designated gringo zone and getting kidnapped. Also applies to Mexiamericans.
  11. It's fucked up because I was on another website a few weeks ago just browsing and the internet detectives had already fingered Partey as the rapist that was reported.
  12. Mate, I was typing out a thread for all the transfers that Barcelona has made since Guardiola, and I was sorting them into bad, great and too early to tell. It was too much work but the bad transfers were totalling at over one billion euros. Here is what I found out via transfermarket @SirBalon @Carnivore Chris could probably rate the transfers better than me, but IMO most were unnecessary.
  13. I’d be more enthusiastic if I lived in Manchester
  14. Makes you wonder why they spent an extra 50,000,000 if they already had a player for free...
  15. Barcelona should have healthy finances. Here are Spike's retroactive genius decisions Don't buy Dembele Don't buy Griezmann Don't buy Coutinho Don't buy Malcom Don't buy de Jong Buy Ferran Torres from Valencia not Manchester City Don't send Suarez to Atletico and pay for his salary on top of it Don't even entertain buying old players like Vidal, Paulinho, Boateng Use the extra half billion to keep Messi around Admit to a few years of being a good team instead of a great team and use youth players to slowly replace the veterans Before Pedri, Barcelona made about three good transfers in a decade, Alba, Suarez, and Rakitic.

That is what’s so concerning. Mum isn’t the type to just make a decision like this at the drop of a hat.
  17. I don’t think there is a particularly large class divide for Jewish Americans.

I’m not even sure if it is her decision or if it’s the school asking.
  19. People always talk about how politics needs to be diverse and inclusive, and they are right but they go about it the wrong way. People always focus on race, gender, religion, but the most important thing to include is class. Representation has always been gated by class and class is ultimately gated by wealth, having a few rich women and minorities as representatives isn't really that far removed from the typical silver-spooned MP. The way I think about it, how much does a very wealthy Indian immigrant have in common with the immigrant running a small family business? Barely anything really, and it's a great trick to con people into thinking they 'are one of us'. Australia just elected a man whose background is far from stable, housing estates, single and disabled mother, a man whose family is entirely reliant on social programs, and federal support. That was the only way a person stuck in that situation can pull themselves out of it, how can someone from poverty get a university education otherwise? I really hope you lot can find a person that really represents the people too, I was thinking it was Corbyn but I really don't know much about UK politics. I just hope one day you guys get a person that is far removed of the landed gentry that dominated your politics for hundreds of years that isn't John Major.

So my brother is at a boarding school, he just turned 13 so that’s high school in Australia. He had problems fitting and and dealing with homesickness, it’s been quite traumatic for him. Mum was just telling me that he is finally settling, being happy, and yesterday was his b’day, big boy is a teenager now… today Mum says that they have to temporarily pull him out of school because of a bullying problem. I’m fucking furious, I haven’t felt so agitated in years, I haven’t felt any desire to punch someone’s head in since uni. It’s because I can’t even do anything. Antagonism happens at that age but to the point they pull him out of school is fucking ridiculous.
