  1. Think you might have to accept were on our way back mate. Add to that we could have new wealthy owners the future is looking bright. I wouldn't want Kane. Not because don't rate him, because he's 30 in the summer. We have enough players in that age bracket we need to be looking for someone younger.
  2. Just watched this with my youngest, it was brilliant. Disney really do a brilliant live production.

I think I'd have heart failure if that was crawling anywhere near me. I hate any sort of bugs, I remember school allowed me to take the class stick insect home as a treat. It never returned to the school, my mum got it out of the sweets jar it was kept in and put it into my hand, I freaked out and flung it as far as I could throw it. Seen as we were in the back garden it was lost forever.
  4. I will keep you posted, I've got the blinds semi closed and I've purchased some binoculars as I read somewhere there essential for being a nosey neighbour.
  5. Just downloaded the app based on this post, my neighbours must think I'm insane. I've just been walking in circles with my phone in the air. I could see Mars but there is cloud coverage next to the moon so couldn't see Jupiter.

Does look kind of cute in the gif. You live in the desert? I was under the impression you were from France, where are you actually from?
  7. This was around £600 worth of credit. Maybe it was saved from the summer months.
  8. First thing we did was claw back the credit owed, our energy provider gave us the option of having it paid back as a lump sum or adjusting our monthly bill. Obviously we took the adjusted bill which comes to less than we were actually paying anyway. Which tells you we were overpaying in the first place.

Me and my baby girl... she will always be my baby girl
  10. Arms, chest and shoulders done today, followed by a short burst of cardio that nearly killed me after the last few days.
  11. Exactly, no shit went down when the Salford firms ran the doors in Manchester. Imagine trying to explain why you have a knife hidden on you to 4 or 5 absolute lunatics wanting an excuse to send you home in an ambulance. You just wouldn't bother would you. Hence why clubs are now weak as shit and stuff like you mentioned is happening more frequent.
  12. To be honest there are details I would prefer to not go into on an open forum. I get where your coming from totally but I obviously know him on a personal level so it's difficult to explain if I don't feel I can post about it. I get where you and @nudge are coming from but I seen how depressed losing his girlfriend made him and how much of a strain it was for him not living with his son so now I feel he's continued living the way he is because of that rather than wanting to fully. The current girlfriend is completely independent and never had intentions of children, so this life is exactly what she wants. She's not a very nice person in truth, I don't know any of my social groups partners that like her and not many other people do either. She's a proper stuck up self indulgent bitch.
  13. To be honest with you no I don't think he's happy. I don't believe the relationship he is in will ever go anywhere, they spend so much time apart it's suits him. I'm convinced its a convenience relationship. He sees her at the weekend they go out get pissed do whatever they do and she goes down to London to work throughout the week. She's still got her own apartment, he's got his own house. To me that's not a relationship but I suppose to others it is so each to their own. I don't personally like her either as she's just not my type of person so she basically driven a wedge between two best mates. It's a shame because he had the house, a lovely girlfriend and a child. I tried to tell him when they had issues he needed to stop going out with the lads so often but he was always finding events and stuff to make excuses to go out. In the end she just had enough and he couldn't understand why.
  14. He's my best mate and was my best man at my wedding. We've been friends since we were 13 years of age. I can have an opinion on his lifestyle if I want it's not like a complete stranger. I do wonder if he's truly happy with the choices he made.
  15. My best mate split with the mother of his child due to the fact he preferred his own space and wouldn't compromise on his lifestyle. He's now with someone who works away who hasn't had children and enjoys a similar lifestyle to him. I personally think it's really sad myself as its clear they are together out of convenience. At times I look at his social media posts and think I'd like to be where he is on a certain weekend but most of the time I look and think mate surely at 41 years of age you're sick to death of going into town drinking. I wouldn't swap my life for his for a billion pounds.
  16. May be an unpopular opinion but changed the laws on security is partly to blame. You go to a bar or a nightclub now and you are faced by individuals working security that are about as intimidating as a geography teacher. The change in the law that meant you couldn't work security if you had a criminal record was huge, you lost about 90% of doorstaff straight away and it kinda brought down private security firms as well. Most of these private security firms were ran by the local gangster who would make sure no trouble would come to any of their establishments.
  17. Maybe it's because I settled before online dating but I just don't feel comfortable with idea of online dating. Firstly how on earth do you trust someone who more than likely is doing everything in their power to make themselves more appealing than they actually are. In person you get a split second to reply to a question and you can read body language to see if someone is into you. It would be so annoying spending the time to get to like someone only to find within 5 minutes the person you'd been speaking to every night for a week was actually nothing like they'd played it out. Secondly, this is the key one for me, I'd hate to be messaging someone, thinking all is going well, whilst knowing she's more than likely talking to 10 other guys at the same time. Nah, not for me. Even if I was born when it went boom I think I'd trust my personality and looks to get me someone I actually meet in person first.
  18. It's true, I just didn't want to admit it so I didn't become one of Burrito kids statistics....
  19. Met my missus at 20, she was 19. 20 years later...... Still together. This theory seems hugely flawed to me.
  20. Was expecting good things as well but it was pretty shit wasn't it.
  21. Palm Springs 8/10 A guy and a girl get stuck in a time loop that makes them relive the same day over and over. Obviously this is Groundhog vibes but very different. Absolutely loved it to be fair, great film.
  22. I'm certainly not going to get competive.
  23. Gonna treat myself to some new running trainers and some new gym gear in the January sales. Been a fair few years but I'm going to venture into the weights section of the gym and get back into next year. Been a long time since I felt motivated to do anything other than cardio.
