Nice. Love Schützenfeste and the fun fairs that come with them. This year we'll have the biggest "Kirmes am Rhein" in July again for the first time since the pandemic. My district always has it's Schützenfest in September. So it's a gamble with the weather. My neighbour was Schützenkönig once. It's expensive as fuck. So his wife only allowed him to become Schützenkönig once.

The Unbearable Weight of a Massive Talent (2022) Peak Nicolas Cage. Exactly what I expected from the trailer. But in the end, for me, it was Pedro Pascal who carried the movie for the most part. Hilarious movie, but still with a good plot and heartfelt moments. Loved it. Fuck it, 9/10

Oh yea, I finished Top Gun. Cheesy music, corny dialogue, and it looked like all the fighter pilots wanted to bang each other. Actually quotes: "I want somebody's butt, I want it now", "That gives me a hard-on" - "Don't tease me", then Val Kilmer doing some weird mouth stuff to Tom Cruise's character. No wonder @OrangeKhrushdidn't want a woman in the 2nd part. Anyway, glad to have watched it so I can watch the 2nd part, but I'm also glad that I got through it. 4/10 The honest trailer is spot-on.

Just seen the last lap of Moto GP's Catalan GP. Aleix Espargaró was in 2nd place when he thought the race was over and slowed down. He dropped back down to 6th. He was aleady waving and giving thumbs up to the crowd because he thought he finished 2nd when there was still a lap to go.
