    Apprentice 2024

Yep. Still see it as entertainment as opposed to actual business acumen on show. First episode is always a shit show. Virdi was very lucky. Girls were shit - their clusterfuck in the kitchen was mad. Crumble for fishcakes
  5. Really? How come? I know Wycombe are hardly setting the league alight, but it's not a banker surely?
  6. all kick-offs GMT Saturday 3rd February, 2024 Everton vs Tottenham, 12.30 (live on TNT) Brighton vs Crystal Palace Burnley vs Fulham Newcastle vs Luton Sheff Utd vs Aston Villa, 17.30 (live on Sky) Sunday 4th February, 2024 Bournemouth vs Nottm Forest, 14.00 Chelsea vs Wolves, 14.00 Man Utd vs West Ham, 14.00 (live on Sky) Arsenal vs Liverpool, 16.30 (live on Sky) Monday 5th February, 2024 Brentford vs Man City, 20.00 (live on Sky)
  7. Teams need to come in line with FFP or the Profit and Sustainability Rules. January usually is a month where it's quieter than summer, though.
  8. Yeah Rudkin needs to go. He must have so much dirt on so many other people in the hierarchy for him to hang around like a bad smell for so many years. He's too comfortable now to be able to pull off stunts like this. What other club pursues only one player for the whole month and still doesn't get him, leaving it too late to do anything else or think of alternatives if things like yesterday happen? It wouldn't surprise me if Maresca walked. I don't think he will, but there wouldn't be much shock given he's done everything he can so far and perhaps hasn't been given the full picture financially. If we screw this over because he wasn't supported from his bosses to strengthen even just a little bit, heads needs to roll from above. And let alone the fans who seem to want to hound him out despite the position we're in.
  9. Nah, amazingly he's not. Gavin Ward, Craig Pawson, Darren England, Keith Stroud are just a few that are worse. One ref that should/does deserve credit is Sam Allison. We've had him a couple of times recently and he's been very good. Expect to see him in the PL soon.
  10. Tierney is in the VAR booth. Just cos he okayed the goal doesn't make it right. He's regularly getting decisions wrong.
  11. Wolves are fucking stupid. Do all that hard work and surrender it. Twice.
  12. Yeah he's a melt. Showing himself to be really inept time and time again.
  13. Game over you'd think! McTominay heads in from a corner.
  14. Looks like minimal contact, if any. Certainly not enough for Neto to go down in such a heap.
  15. Perhaps his agent was seeing what they could get, or other teams interested but were more quiet about it. What a career he's had!
  16. Of course it's Rashford that scores Decent goal to be fair. Nice hit.
  17. I'm yet to be convinced that Mudryk isn't some guy that won a competition to play professional football.
  18. Didn't think they needed more strikers?
  19. Week 24 Results Millwall 1-1 Preston St Johnstone 1-1 Motherwell Dusseldorf 1-2 St Pauli Marseille 2-2 Monaco Macarthur 2-2 Perth Glory West Brom 0-2 Wolves Monza 1-0 Sassuolo Newport 2-4 Man Utd Anderlecht 2-2 Union Saint-Gilloise Atletico Madrid 2-0 Valencia Round-up An unprecedented 50% of the results ending in a draw means all the scores this week are respectable. Highlight of the week is @nawoo's 20 points which takes him closer to the top two. And that top two has a slightly different outlook, with @CaaC (John) outscoring me to slightly close the gap! Second-best for the week was @Bluebird Hewitt with 17 points. And he and @Tommy deserve credit for the 2-2 draw between French rivals Marseille & Monaco.
