  1. Think you brought it on yourself
  2. That's not the question. 'never' is the operative word in the question...
  3. But it happened...

Yeah, even if it was for another over. The runs he'd have likely gained would have edged NZ closer.

What a game. Fantastic cricket all round. Ravindra is one hell of a player. Look forward to watching him over the next 5-10 years. Shame he's on the losing side but Aus just did enough to save it.
  6. I just cannot fathom how anyone can not agree to a ceasefire to stop civilians being killed. Obscene.
  7. One of the record scores in football is Australia beating American Samoa is 31-0 ffs.

Maxwell is in beast mode again
  9. Are you sure? What's wrong with protecting civilians in Gaza?
  10. UK government should be ashamed of itself. Actively and willingly on the wrong side of history here.
  11. So many of them were devoid of thought anyway.
  12. Some of the answers here are mad.
  13. Ah yes, because those prayers after the last shootings, and the ones before that, and the ones before that, worked so well...
  14. It's not for playing poker, is it? Footballers betting on their own teams is dodgy as fuck. No matter how 'innocent' it may seem, they could be seen as a way to influence the result. I get that addiction is a problem, but it has to be a pretty serious and impacting one for a player to bet on their own team, playing in the game or not, knowing that it's quite an explicit rule that you are not allowed to do that. I'd have a bit more leniency for players just doing a random acca that will have no bearing on their their team. But Toney and Tonali (and Fagioli?) all betted on their own team's results at one point or other. And that a) shouldn't be allowed and b) that's what they should get help towards avoiding.
  15. I vaguely remember seeing something about it, and thought it was coming in next season. But don't recall full details.
  16. Not right at all. I think there's been extensive research into gambling addiction as a result of how much it is visible and accessible in the sport and it's quite damning. Not enough is done to prevent players gambling, let alone fans. It's the same as Toney. Played a lot in the Skybet football league, and had plenty of shirt sponsors that were gambling companies. It's unbelievable hypocritical.
  17. Game 55 - 60th Game 56 - 20th
  18. Game 53 had a goal in the 80th minute, but unfortunately no-one was close enough. Game 54 had no goals, but no one opted for that pick so again, no winners! GAME 55 - SHEFF WEDS vs ROTHERHAM - SUNDAY 29th OCTOBER, 13.00 (GMT) GAME 56 - MAN UTD vs MAN CITY - SUNDAY 29th OCTOBER, 15.30 (GMT) ***any predictions made after kick-off will not count*** @Mel81x @Lucas @6666 @Dr. Gonzo @Michael @Redcanuck @Devil @Reluctant Striker @CaaC (John) @Beelzebub @Devil-Dick Willie @JoshBRFC @Viva la FCB @Pyfish @Bluewolf @Tommy @Rucksackfranzose @OrangeKhrush
  19. That would be insane! But I think our dip will come in January, we will be missing Iheanacho and Ndidi, and possibly Fatawu, to the AFCON tournament. But imagine smashing it by that much

    That's quality from Mendis.
  21. Why should it be Everton that are hit hard to give a warning to those 3 clubs? Why does it have to be a 'smaller' club to take the hit? Just smacks of elitism and favouritism.
