  1. True. In Leicester my 93y/o gran only just received her vaccine last week, and then I saw a headline in one of the local news pages there that they're now offering over 70's a vaccine . Good point. I guess at the time of giving them the vaccine, left-over or not, they must have their details taken and they get given the card to keep as proof they were given it. So with that, they are given a date 12 weeks in to the future?
  2. Heard about left-over vaccines quite a lot, all at the end of the day. I'm not so fussed about it really - it prevents wastage and at least more of the population get vaccinated, albeit not in the right priority. But as long as the vast majority of the priority categories get vaccinated - which is happening - I don't see much of an issue.
  3. Man City's have bossed it over the past month and a bit, but their next 4-6 weeks look interesting. Just come through an easy period of games (for the most part), aided by their welcome break thanks to COVID... Next league games being: LIverpool away Spurs home Arsenal away West Ham home Man Utd home Plus the first leg against Gladbach in CL and away FA Cup game vs Swansea (which they will most likely win both). I can't see them winning all the league games though. Might not pull away as much as many expect after a good run of form... (prepared for @Happy Blue to say they'll come out of this period of games with a 100% record )
  4. Can't change the goalposts. First we're talking injuries so far across the season, now it's only season-ending, long-term injuries? We had Ndidi, Castagne, Soyuncu out for best part of 3 months since September, Pereira only just coming back since March
  5. All fair points. You've had your CBs out which is huge. But I've not seen anyone say it's normal. It's just a shit season for a lot of clubs. That, to me, is not normalising it. I don't think it's right, though, to downplay any other sides' injuries which is what @Scouse_Mouse did. No-one is disregarding your issue
  6. Southampton, for example, have 9 players out and that's just currently - Diallo, Obafemi, Romeu, Salisu, Smallbone, Vestergaard, Walcott, Walker-Peters, Tella. Granted a couple of those are new/youth (Salisu & Tella), but as part of their squad, they're unavailable. https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/fantasy-football-injuries/ https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php
  7. I agree. I don't think anyone is downplaying that Just that you're not the only side to suffer.
  8. Oh please! Don't become a WUM, please. As @Storts said, plenty of other sides have had bad injury lists. We've had Pereira, Soyuncu, Castagne, Vardy, Ndidi, Fofana, Maddison, Praet out at some point this season, some of them concurrently. So if you don't recall any other side being hit as hard, I think you're not paying enough attention to anyone else but Liverpool
  9. Just took this picture (with phone) of Orion constellation, with the line of 3 stars and other stars above and below, just above and to the right of the chimney. Very clear night sky tonight.

I got an upvote from him. I was stunned.
  11. Our government in particular seems very reluctant to do any learning of lessons. Nearly 12 months in and this crap still happens...

    I'm offended.
  13. Yeah the thread on that tweet does go to say it's data across the trial patients up to a point in December, but if this can be duplicated for any of the variants in place at the moment that would be so encouraging. It's quite a high percentage rate as well I thought.
  14. Good link to keep track of vaccine data here: https://data.spectator.co.uk/city/vaccines
