    Congratulations!
  2. Our beloved government have found £10bn to aid additional nuclear warheads but struggled to find the money to pay NHS staff properly, not least after their efforts this year. So much for the 'there's no magic money tree' stick they aimed towards Labour...
  3. Ha, you moderator peasants don't get to see everything the AdminCP. Shame.
  4. That lends itself to both sides of the debate, to be fair. You're still in 2nd because you've won enough games and garnered enough points where others have failed. Goes back to that old adage 'you can only beat what's in front of you'. While in the present it might be hard to gauge your 'true' position, the fact is that you are 2nd and will be in the CL - you won't finish outside top 4 or you'll win EL. So it's a good starting point to build on. No team other than Man City is probably as good as Liverpool so it depends who you compare your season to.
  5. Seems to be that Utd have steadied the ship at the minimum, and moved forward when you look at the position in the league. Seem to be doing enough to become the best of the rest and I think you'll finish in 2nd with ease by the time the end of the season comes. Surely a successful season if you finish 2nd and then win a trophy - be it FA Cup (hope not) or Europa League. I think you're comfortably the strongest team left in the EL, and should win it as the favourite.

    Congratulations to you and your dog!
  11. Yeah I've seen a bit of it. Insane achievement. Obviously we only get given the edited/specific bits of footage in the documentary but I have no reason not to believe the people closest to him when they say about how positive his attitude was from day one of the accident, even in the first few days of what he remembers in hospital. For such a young kid to have been racing all his life, then have that snatched away from him in an accident, and continue to be positive and make a difference to how the sport operates regarding disability and disabled participants is huge for anyone, let alone someone his age. Phenomenal individual.
  12. Just watched a documentary on Billy Monger and the crash he sustained, and the recovery thereafter. It's surreal what he achieved/achieves despite what happened to him. Talk about turning a negative in to a positive. Very heart-warming watching him talk through the journey since the crash. Inspirational.

    @Tommy do you fancy it?
  14. Agreed. I know it's a general comparison to make but when you look at how police have pretty much let football celebrations go ahead throughout the pandemic without much involvement, it's embarrassing, really.
  15. No I understand what's happening, I just can't make sense of the police's actions today.
  16. Some of the videos I've seen of police breaking up a vigil for a woman who was killed by a police officer is fucking mad. I can't make sense of it.
