This is the thing - he was one of the form players in the league before his unfortunate injury. My gut instinct is that due to his injury he may not become that same level of form. On the other hand, I want to include him in my Fantasy League team and he's a cheap option so I really want him to regain that form and play like he never missed a minute

Exactly the same in terms of the bold bits! It's more out of awe than anything. Maybe other doubles games in the past have flattered to deceive; Williams is just demolishing these with her return. Apparently Martin's one of the best servers in the doubles game aswell. She's taking the piss Some decent rallies though when they get going.

Would be good if this ended up having the desired effect on the day or in the long term of getting Ashley out. Would be a big statement to see an empty SJP on opening day of the season (and matches thereafter).

NZ 128-2 off 34 overs. Very slow going from them but our bowling has been so good and disciplined. Pressure consistently put on the batsman so far. Williamson has been resilient for NZ.

I disagree. I had high hopes for West Indies, as documented on here before the tournament started, but they totally failed to deliver. There's only so much Russell would have done. The best players on show for West Indies were Hope & Pooran and even then it wasn't all the time. They were very underwhelming and I don't even think I expected too much of them. Bangladesh or Pakistan would have deserved and taken the 4th spot if others didn't qualify.

I really didn't see this coming to fruition. Australia couldn't chase down SA's high total. India vs NZ on Tuesday. England vs Aus on Thursday.

Kyrgios has admitted to aiming and hitting the ball directly at Nadal. It's the equivalent of someone perhaps targeting a player in football cynically fouling him given the opportunity. Everyone seems to be loving the 'honesty' part of Kyrgios words & actions but for me he's an embarrassment for the sport. Childish and pathetic.

England join Australia & India in the semi-finals. If Pakistan beat Bangladesh (by a huge margin), they could overtake NZ on net run-rate but that's very unlikely. If India beat SL and Australia lose against SA, it'll be India vs NZ & Australia vs England in the semi-finals. Should Australia win (the more likely outcome), they'll play NZ and it'll be India vs England in the other.
