If you need to talk, PM me. Depression is not an easy thing to deal with mate, let alone doing it alone

If South Africa had ABDV then perhaps. He's a big loss to them after his retirement.

Weirdly enough our neighbour did his yesterday too and I had no idea. Think might do our driveway next and make sure it's switched on Cleaned the outside of the windows too and found it all very therapeutic really.

Not quite a big job as the garden project by @Bluewolf that time but jetwashed the patio this morning and I'm knackered now Incoming comment from him 'Pfft, the youth of today!'

I'm actually a bit disappointed that Pant wasn't picked but I expect to see him more regularly after Dhoni retires. I don't really see the immature side but I do see the inexperience. From memory, Karthik isn't really lighting up things with the bat and hasn't really done too much in the IPL either. I'd have picked Umesh instead of Kumar as opposed to Jadeja. I love Kumar but he's been off form recently partly through to injury so I actually think he could become a bit of a liability. Also surprised Ashwin wasn't picked either. Excited to see players like Rahul, Shankar and Pandya perform. Reckon this is Dhawan's last tournament as well. I'm going to India vs West Indies at Old Trafford so will expect some huge hitting. Andre Russell has been utterly ridiculous at smashing the ball out the park in the IPL. Don't expect that to change if he's chosen for the slightly longer format. West Indies have undergone a big transition in the last 5-7 years and now they have the rewards with some of the players that have come through. Really wouldn't be surprised if they make the latter stages of the tournament.
  8. Looks a size too big for me.

Sounds like you've got in to @MUFC or @Devil-Dick Willie head there and accessed their wild thoughts...

@Bluewolf help a brother out. Real or not? Photoshopped? Can't quite work it out to be honest. I'm sure you can verify!
  13. I get that they want to do something but not sure how a social media boycott for 24 hours works in the grand scheme of things? Is it going to make people less racist or eradicate their behaviour? I can't see that, myself.

Looks legit to me. That big crate at the bottom of the picture though, on the other hand...

Why are you so mean these days @Bluewolf

  17. it worked in Germany with Hockenheim and Nurburgring (with one classed as the European Grand Prix) but both of those are classic, traditional circuits and actually added something to the calendar. I know it's for money to have another one in China but I don't see what it'll add to the calendar apart from just clogging it up. I don't agree with it and find it fairly pointless to be honest.

    The Holiday Thread

Yeah we were looking for ages and luckily flights from Luton and back were only something like £60 return and that was bang in middle of summer holidays. Guess this weekend being bank holiday as well you're bound to get prices hiked up.

There's good wash 'n' wax services in Scotland. Don't taste the Irn-Bru though as the recipe has changed recently. Be prepared to drink your body weight in alcohol otherwise you won't ever be accepted. @nudge can suggest some good Scottish whiskey's for you.

Me neither not so much but you get used to ignoring that or giving it less attention. When I said non-work stuff I kind of just meant football to be honest .

Yeah I think it's good to have a balance. I started my current job as office-based and then went to home-based with the big change at work. The knowledge I gained from being around more experienced people in the office was so valuable and it's one thing I'd find difficult if I was coming in to the job right now and having to start at home, so I sympathise in that respect for people in that situation.
