What do you mean by surpass.
  3. Isn't Henry considered the all time best PL striker? If Aguero is the best foreign, he is the best of all time, period. There's no one with a better goal ratio anyway.
  4. Bercow aged like 10 years in the last few months.
  5. Bale back to Spurs as well wouldn't surprise me, or somewhere else.
  6. Cascais (part of greater Lisbon) is not as lively as Lisbon but it is just as tourist-friendly and its city centre is arguably more charming. I love it there specially at night time. The village has a traditional feel because of the archtitecure and historic buildings and there are some very nice restaurants where you can get a privileged view to the ocean. It's a beautiful place to be honest, and indeed the beaches are the nicest in Lisbon. Hope you get good weather. Oh and the seafood is the freshest you'll ever eat. Since you have 5 days you might want to check Portugal's nicest treat, a "pastel de nata", in a place called Pastéis de Belém, in Belém. It is the most reviwed eatery in the world. I go to games frequently. It's very easy and cheap to get tickets. The stadium is rarely sold out against middle/bottom table sides, so you should be able to get tickets even in the day of the match. Most home games are routine wins so it's fun for a tourist I guess.
  7. How much time you got? I'd recommend a day trip to both Sintra and Cascais. Go check Lisbon's Ocenarium, which is the best in the world, and if you want a very Portuguese experience, visit Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Castelo de São Jorge, then have dinner at some restaurant with live Fado and eat anything with cod in it.
  8. Ffs There's this comment in that tweet: "Proof that the only thing keeping us in this league is the manager". Isn't it so true? Poor Rafa.
  9. Would be class if the players did that dance as a group celebration.
  10. The most interesting aspect of the tweet is that it's posted by the official NUFC account. Is this a true reflection of how the relationship between Pardew and NUFC developed, or is it just a dig by the guy managing social media?
  11. I'm no expert but for budget phones I'd look at the Huawei P20 Lite which is at under 300£, or the Honor View 10 for something a bit better and with a bigger screen for around 450£. That's what I'd get if I could quit Samsung
  12. I don't even care if it's bad defending... that Firmino goal might be my favourite of the season so far. I'm pretty sure the celebration in the stadium was particularly loud too. https://streamable.com/s/y1r6x What about Alisson's pass here leading to the first penalty call? What's with Brazilian goalies and distribution these days by the way? Ali and Ederson in a league of their own in that aspect.

Merry Christmas fellow football enthusiasts and happy birthday Stan.
  14. Is that a very brave dog or does it know that the glass is keeping him from being eaten alive?
  15. I do like Bercow. An interesting curriculum and a curious set of ideas for a Tory. Having to deal with people debating forever about a small scale insult that probably didn't happen and competing to see who can say "myea" the loudest, while being astonishingly articulate and cool, can't be easy...
  16. Indeed. It was an event whenever Chelsea conceded a goal back then. Going off topic but Carvalho is probably my favourite center back ever. Rare for a center back to play with such elegance. Tough tackling but with the just the right amount of aggressiveness. His relaxed body language and seemingly weak physique I think caught attackers off guard which worked as an advantage for him.
