  1. @nudge Thanks for that Katla recommendation. Enjoyed it and am looking forward to the second season.
  2. @Viva la FCB the news from south western BC are worrying, hope you stay safe!
  3. Bild rate players according to German school marks. 1 is the best possible mark, 6 the worst.
  4. It does, even if some of them are at the same time.
  5. I'm a bit bemused, you even consider reading anything in two pre-season results against 6-tier teams, that didn't play a single competetive match for over a year, to be blunt Especially since said teams weren't even allowed to train together until this month.
  6. Would like to say they called it classic because they knew how heated the rivalry between RWE and FCS in the 80's and early 90's was, when both teams played each other more regurlarly in 2.Liga . Since their a non-German broadcaster, I'd guess they called it a classic because a youtube summary of this match, which has the same length, exists, though. PS: That part with the heated rivalry was no invention.
  7. They were quite popular in the 70'*s and at the begin of the 80's. Almost vanished from market in the end of the 80's, when the only Groschenromane that were still around were some Arztromane. Remember the first Lassiter I bought was 2 Groschen.
  8. Loved john Sinclair and Lassiter western stories in my early teens, stopped reading them at about 14 or 15 years, though.
  9. It's incredibly sad, the separation between this legend and the club that was his club for over 40 years occurs in anger.
  10. Would be intrigued to learn, how chairwoman Alice Weidel, who's lesbian reacted to this comment of one of her party friends.
  11. UEFA terminated their investigations against Neuer, which they started because he uses a captain's armband in rainbow colours. Nice to see they adress the really important issues of European football.
  12. Thanks @nudge. Will eventually watch it after the Euros.
  13. I'm surprised since Daimler-Benz are normally are sponsoring more elitist sports compared to football with it's working class roots. Also didn't think they would consider sponsoring a second tier club (sorry for mentioning) with their first class attitude.

Happy birthday, young man. Many happy returns. @CaaC (John)
  15. According to the disgusting, four letter named tabloid (not the most reliable source I know) Werder are interested in hiring Gerhard Struber as their next manager.
  16. Nowadays - for the most part for traditional reasons. Allegedly, it was introduced as a tribute to the football association that did the most for reintegrating DFB into international football after both world wars i.e. Republic of Ireland. That's probably a myth, though.
  17. Share your opinion, still knowing Werder's approach recently , talking about the last 3-4 manager appointments here, and the facts a) Frings is without contract and b) Klose announced he'll leave Bayern at the end of this season let me fear something different, or more of the same depending on how you look at it, will happen.
  18. Not saying this was a false step- the reasoning is remarkable, though. Baumann said they sacked Kohfeldt because his relationship with the team would be on an all- time low, not even a month after Baumann had said the reason not to sack Kohfeldt would be the very good relationship he had with the team. What's true now? Hope Schaaf succeeds in his probably last match as a Werder manager, would be sad if this club legend had to oversee a relegation.
  19. Probably shouldn't ask, but out of curiosity: What's abnormal, in your mind to be homosexual or to be non-white?
  20. Well, fear can be a considerable stimulant.
  21. Never said it's safe, you idiot, I said it is a risk, but one you take for the children's education. While mixing on weekends is a risk you don't take because it serves no other purpose than your entertainment. Got it now? If not you shouldn't have played truant your school for pupils with learning disorder so often.
  22. Learn to read, if the children were healthy on Wednesday that doesn't necessarily mean their parents are healthy on the following Saturday. But I'll leave it at this. By the way read again and you'll see that people calling you daft as a piece of wood are indeed flattering you.
  23. Guess what, if you have contact with a person suffering with any disease, be it Covid or Leprosy, the longer and more frequent the contact the higher the risk to infest yourself. Mentioned Leprosy because of Damian de Veuster, who lived healthy on an Leprosy island for over an year and infested himself with Leprosy, when he travelling Indian mainland to ask for donations. No, wasn't joking you're just not as clever as you might think.
  24. Well, actually i didn't want to react to your post, but since you decided to call me cunt I'll do anyway. Nobody says the virus can't be spread in school. But if you take rightfully this risk, that doesn't mean you have also to take the additional risk of you mixing with your neighbours. I's not like the risk wouldn't become the higher the more contacts you have. In other words if your children mix Monday to Friday in school there's a risk of spreading the virus they willingly take for the children's education. If you furthermore mix with their families at weekends you are raising said risk for no other reason than your personal entertainment. That's a massive difference and not the rule but you're dumb if you're not capable to see this.
