You know every interview I have seen with this guy reminds me of how quiet he actually is vs how lit up he is on a pitch. I like him and I hope he closes his career with us. Good attitude, willing to bust a lung to get things done and doesn't engage in frivolous topics of discussion when quizzed by the media.

It was nice seeing him step up when things looked bleak and he scored the first century in an Eliminator which his team needed. The other person who really showed up was Harshal. TBF to Lucknow they really shot themselves in the foot with the sloppy fielding which completely turned the game and gave Patidar his century.

The start of the this article and where it comes from is sign that pizza making is in safe hands. Although what the machine was able to do is quite cool.

Activision I totally get but EA makes no sense to me, they have IPs that are guaranteed money-makers with the exception of FIFA which is now going to be distanced from the actual football body since they said they are not renewing the license.

I have the new Kirby game but I refuse to touch it until I am done with Elden Ring which has taken longer than I expected.

I feel like VAR is going to take a few more years to not get better but to be expected as the x-factor in deciding games. The implementations and the rules keep flipping to compliment the faults on either side of the fence and the bigger issue is that just like the way fouls are considered across the globe, VAR is also falling into a similar trap where phrases like "clear and obvious" are more aligned with how a ref wants to see it vs how it is. Having said that, its definitely improving from what it was earlier to what is now.

Didn't really know where to post this because I have just spent the last 3 minutes laughing and my eyes are literally tearing but here goes. Three weeks ago as part of an effort to setup machines for a showcase event someone got smart and decided to remote connect our entire showcase network using a single file that basically goes out and updates all the login credentials for the application, does some other fun stuff with storage connectivity, etc. Well, they ran this file and it locked out the entire marketing team and the entire development and testing teams too. And as a result our server ops team was called in. They aren't the most happiest folks in the world but they spent two weeks undoing what this file that took literally 2 mins to do, begrudgingly I might add. Unbeknownst to everyone, the person who was doing the demos for one of the features reached out to the original team that was setting up these boxes for the show and told them she couldn't login. They of course ecstatically jumped up and said wait we have a file that does this. We are one week away from a Trade Show Demo and I am drinking coffee and watching my communication stream explode. Someone is going to lose their job before the end of this week. Side note, they still haven't deleted that file.
