  1. I actually canceled my F1TV subscription... Their archive has a long way to go; way too many full races missing to enjoy it properly. But I have an external hard drive with all old race recordings since 1981, and just found the previous three seasons online. Not the best quality, but still watchable. I've been enjoying it a lot during the lockdowns, especially when there's no other racing.
  2. Finished 1979 Season a few days ago, and am now 5 races into 1980. 1979 was a pretty interesting season to watch, with Lotus falling apart completely after dominating in previous season, Ferrari winning both the Driver's (Scheckter) and Constructor's titles, and Williams making impressive progress in the second half of the season, managing to finish 2nd, despite taking only 10 points in the first 7 races. Lauda had a disappointing year with Brabham Alfa and retired at the end of the season, same with James Hunt and Jackie Ickx. Villeneuve was probably the most exciting driver to watch, his battle with Arnoux in the closing laps of French GP being the highlight of the season for me. 1980 started with Ferrari being unexpectedly poor, and trailing at the end of the grid, as they couldn't keep up with the development in ground effect aerodynamics - most of the rest of the field used a Cosworth V8 engine which had an advantage due to its layout, compared to Ferrari's flat 12 engine. Williams continued where they left off last season, with Ligier, Renault and Brabham starting the season strongly as well. Keke Rosberg got his first podium ever, and Alain Prost made his debut in F1 Worst event so far: Clay Regazzoni was involved in a horrible crash during the US GP when the brake pedal of his Ensign broke while he was going at 280 kmh, he hit a retired car parked next to the track, and then crashed into the barriers. Regazzoni suffered serious injuries and was paralysed from the waist down for the rest of his life Marc Surer also crashed heavily and broke his legs in qualifying at South Africa. To be continued...

Haha, tastes much better than it looks... But yeah, I was suspicious when I first tried it, too Much prefer it over the mayo version these days...

I wouldn't mind mayo (the taste is fine), but it's just too heavy/fatty for me... If I eat more than just a spoonful or so, I get slightly nauseous. Same with all fatty and sugary foods, really Good in terms of maintaining weight effortlessly though

Don't tell that to the Bavarians It's lovely...

I don't like mayo, so most of my salads have a simple olive oil & vinegar or olive oil & lime juice dressing... Even potato salad I prefer in Swabian/Bavarian style - with beef broth, mustard, vinegar and oil
  7. @Mpache Succar is in LASK's match squad

No picture, but I've recently discovered my new favourite salad - basically just grated Kohlrabi and (sour) apple, with some lime juice as a dressing. It's great for a very light meal, very refreshing. I usually have it after a workout, along with an open trout or salmon sandwich. Also, does anyone have a good pico de gallo recipe?
  9. For me it's a bit hit and miss... Jennifer Connelly's Melanie is great, and so is the actress who plays Ruth - now don't get me wrong, I fucking hate her character, but it is very interesting, the same could be said about A.J. too (both almost on par with Lost in Space's Dr. Smith in terms of being annoying ). However, Andre Layton is a poor cast in my opinion, and his character doesn't do anything for me; wouldn't be a big deal, but he's kinda the most important character...
  10. That's an understatement... I hear nowadays he rejects roles that die on screen though In all seriousness, I think Jennifer Connelly carried the show in Season 1. Without her, it would be much, much worse.
  11. Really looking forward to it... Can't wait to see if Sean Bean's character lives until the end of the season
  12. There's an initiative called COVAX which is exactly that - a global scheme for equitable distribution of vaccines, especially to lower-income countries that wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise, and they expect to deliver at least 2 billion doses until the end of the year. It is backed by WHO and signed by some 190 countries, including the rich ones (except USA and Russia) that will finance 92 low- and middle-income countries through the scheme. It has been recently announced that with the current agreements in place, all those countries will be able to access doses required to protect their vulnerable groups in the first half of 2021.

Surely opera (and classical music in general) is one of the most - if not THE most - complex and technically demanding genres to perform?
  14. MCF Abort (Major Component Failure)... There's no way SLS will fly this year.
  15. Test is running ahead of schedule, the broadcast starts now, an hour earlier than expected!
  16. Yes, that's a bit of a relief! First half was poor, second one a bit better, and while it was not a good game to watch, it was a deserved win in the end.
  17. Can't speak for the UK, but in Germany, Robert Koch Institut reports the total number of deaths "with covid" and "of covid" bundled together. Most federal states, on the other hand, report deaths in those two categories separately. The percentage of those who had tested positive but died of other causes varied from 9 to 18% in reports from selected federal states' local health offices in mid December (data from Bayern, Baden-Württemberg, Hamburg and NRW).
  18. Fun fact: they are using pretty the same engines on SLS that were used on the Space Shuttle, just with upgraded computers and some other modifications It was truly well ahead its time.
  19. Füllkrug injured again... Picked up an ankle injury during the last training before tomorrow's match
  20. I just hope it will be primarily a single-player adventure, not some sort of MMO... There's already Star Wars: The Old Republic for that, and while enjoyable, I am personally not into online multiplayer much. Whereas a well thought out, single player open world game with a huge map would be so fucking cool... Imagine something like GTA and RDR but set in a Star Wars universe Do we reckon it will be a Mandalorian/bounty hunters game? Or High Republic? Or something completely different? Also good news is that EA lost its exclusivity rights to Star Wars games.
  21. A new announcement from the Lucasfilm Games: New Indiana Jones game and a new open-world Star Wars adventure... I'm getting excited...

Not particularly, no. I mean, I would eat it if someone served it at a party or dinner or whatever, but I would never order it or cook it myself. Same with hummus. It's weird, as I normally like most legumes a lot, but just not chickpeas
