Igora is the name of the ski resort complex there (and the circuit is nearby) so the road infrastructure should be decent. Bus and trains for sure. A good thing is actually very reachable for the Finns too so that would almost certainly serve as a "home race" for them.
Sochi is set to undergo a lot of new developments apparently so I understand that's the main reason why they'd want the race to be relocated to another circuit.
St. Petersburg is indeed fantastic... but the track is over 70 km away haha.
More reports that Igora Drive near St. Petersburg might be replacing Sochi as the circuit of the Russian GP: https://www.racefans.net/2019/10/07/why-sochi-may-yet-lose-the-russian-grand-prix-to-igora-drive/
Would be a welcome move. The track looks decent and the initial feedback from the DTM drivers has been extremely positive.
I agree that education is important but it also depends on what you're studying. A lot of degrees nowadays are essentially useless - either because of the subject matter (shite like "gender studies") or lack of a viable job market now or in the near future so it turns out to be a waste of time and money.
This was planned for a long time and he's been preparing for it during the summer in the simulator Yamamoto is a class driver but it's just a nice gesture and nothing else...
I usually watch a few but most of them just run in the background while I'm working or doing something else. Only properly (i.e. fully focused) watch Werder and maybe another match or two (depending on who's playing). Either German or Austrian BL + their club matches in European competitions during the week.
Toprak injured again
Pizarro doubtful too.
It's a good thing we gave Groß a new contract; we might need to give him a professional one in the near future as he seems to be the only want to stay fit
Found a very interesting read on the Autosport forums today; one of the posters there (moreland) has been posting sets of graphics comparing driver race pace throughout the season using linear modelling and calculated from their "clean" laps in every race corrected for fuel load and tyres. I'll post the link to the thread as it's a very interesting detailed read with much more stats and comparisons but anyway here's the current overall average race pace so far:

Decided to go back to Thailand in late spring; will spend a month or so in the southern west coast part (Krabi) this time; mostly staying in Krabi/Ao Nang & doing some island hopping and other tours from there. Really really really looking forward to it.
Interesting detail from a recent F1 Fan Voice survey re grid penalties. Apparently they have been considering alternatives to the current system of grid penalties due to it getting criticism. And - I kid you not - they are now asking the fans if they prefer leaving things as they are or would they support introducing a ballast penalty.
It's been mostly tested by motorbikes so far but they also had a run wth F4 car:
Looks very interesting to me. Nice elevation changes, different types of corners, the flow looks good.
