  1. Yes, he runs a motorsport consultancy business with his father that does a lot of things including track designs The one to be finished soon is Kymi Ring in Finland; it'll host MotoGP race there starting next year and they've already been in talks with F1 for the future too. He's also working on the new circuit in Saudi Arabia which is a very ambitious project as it's expected to be the longest one in the world with several radical features and numerous elevation changes. The plans are to have it ready for 2022 season. Another one he's been linked with is a new circuit in Rio.
  2. Looks decent but still a typical Tilke design I think... Can't wait for Alex Wurz to design more tracks so maybe they'll be more exciting
  3. Les machines de l'île in Nantes inspired by Jules Verne. Basically a steampunk park with loads of mechanical beasts. How cool is that
  4. Apparently the Russian GP will be held at Sochi for the last time next year and will then be moved to another circuit. According to early reports it could be moved to the circuit that is currently being built in St. Petersburg.
  5. Wagner can be quite a bit of a tool but he's completely right here.
  6. He's been spouting shit in an arrogant manner for over 3 decades now; don't think his latest outbursts are anything special Just look back at the whole Lemke or Daum thing. It's frankly hilarious. A very personification of Bavaria I bet he will get even more vocal once he's "retired"
  7. The whole quantum mechanics and computing stuff flies well over my head really... What would be practical uses and applications of an actual working full-fledged quantum computer (bar cyber security)? If I understand it correctly, it's advantage mainly lies at solving very specific extremely high level mathematical problems and simulating extremely complex systems that would require infinite time or would be fundamentally impossible on "regular"computers?

    Animals

A baby zebra with a very unusual and completely beautiful genetic mutation has been spotted on the Maasai Mara Reserve in Kenya. Finally settles the age old debate of whether a zebra is a black horse with white stripes or the other way around

    Yes. Annoying af.
  10. This is one of the reasons why I never even considered booking holidays with a travel agency. I understand how that business model worked in the past with no internet and lack of available information but nowadays when booking a flight and a hotel has never been easier, why would anyone still use it?...
  11. The latest episode of Beyond the Grid with Jos is class.

  14. Final IndyCar race is starting in a few minutes! Laguna Seca is such an amazing track; this should be a class race...
  15. The match just started and LASK are already 1-0 against Red Bull Salzburg; what a goal by Goiginger!
  16. Defenders: Moisander, Toprak (both should be fit in about a week), Veljkovic and Langkamp (both in reha-training), Augustinsson (out for 2-3 months) Midfielders: Möhwald (out for 6 months). Bargfrede (was out for months) and Maxi Eggestein are just back to the squad after injuries. Attackers: Füllkrug (out for months), Osako (out for 4-6 weeks), Bartels (out indefinitely; potentially career ending). Rashica just returned back as well. So 9 currently injured with 3 players coming back after injuries. + Sahin suspended. All first team players as well. Mostly bad luck as it's all different type of injuries; some long-term as well. We actually even hired an external team of specialists to evaluate it to see if there's something contributing to it potentially but no pattern was found. Hope Maxi Eggestein and Rashica are fit enough for the starting XI tomorrow. If no one else picks up an injury during the warm up we'll probably start like this: --------------------Pavlenka Lang---------TGS------Groß--------Friedl ----------------M. Eggestein ------J. Eggestein---------Klaassen Rashica--------Sargent----------Bittencourt The bring on Pizarro and Bargfrede at some point.
