  1. Didn't even recognize Sean Penn
  2. I rate him quite highly as a manager, and think he would be a good choice for Gladbach. Hope he doesn't end up in Hertha or RB...
  3. Nice... I love movies that explore the relationships between humans and androids/AI, so this definitely looks like my cup of tea... The way it's filmed reminds me of Malick
  4. Does the name "Bluewolf" have similar origins?
  5. She's creepy af, fantastic acting indeed! I haven't watched the original, either...
  6. 24H Daytona was an amazing race again. Incredible battles from the start to the finish in all classes, but the two Porsches battle for the class win in GTD Pro was the icing on the cake... Such intense, hard, borderline racing well into the final lap! Both Vanthoor and Jaminet drove like mad there Just fantastic.
  7. That one is actually a continuation of this one: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0085106/
  8. Yep, this one: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt1307824/ Really enjoying it so far...
  9. Started watching V a while ago as I haven't watched it before when it originally aired. Halfway through Season 1, it's really good...
  10. Both of those are clearly wrong. All newly discovered lands back then were obviously named Indies in honour of Indiana Jones
  11. It actually looks good...
  12. Renault and reliability issues, name a more iconic duo
  13. Nice! Bet you enjoyed the Qatar GP, then
  14. Whoa, what kind of magic is this???
  15. Yep, they use a four-level system, with Level 1 having no restrictions, and Level 4 having the most. The situation is evaluated on regular intervals, so things are changing constantly. Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Palma, and La Gomera are currently at Level 4; and Fuerteventura, El Hierro, and Lanzarote at Level 3. But frankly, their restrictions are very mild and have barely any impact on enjoying your time there... Arrival controls are very smooth, as well. I wanted to visit Fuerteventura mostly for its Mars-like landscapes

    Looks fantastic!
  17. No, unfortunately. I had hotels and a car booked in Fuerteventura originally, but at the time I arrived to Tenerife, it got moved to level 4 and only essential travel was allowed between islands. It was possible later after a few months, but with situation changing unpredictably, I didn't want to get stuck there and miss my next flight.
  18. Can highly recommend Teide volcano and national park in Tenerife. There's also an impressive observatory there; it was sadly closed due to covid situation when I was there so I missed out on it But still, the views are majestic. I also booked a paragliding flight from Mount Teide, and would highly recommend it, too

Dutch pronunciation can be quite challenging, especially the choking "g" sound and several diphthongs ("ui" is particularly hard to master, imo). Otherwise, I agree. I've heard it's one of the easier languages to learn (for English native speakers), so you've got a point there regarding composition and root words!

Understandable. For me, it's tonal languages that are the most challenging. I can hear and recognize the differences in tones and can also mimic them if I'm speaking slowly, but once I have to say a complete sentence at normal speed, the tones mostly disappear

Which other languages have you looked at? Personally, Spanish was by far the easiest language to learn for me. Even after having no practice for over a decade, I managed to have both formal and informal conversations the last time I went there last year, which was quite a surprise to me
  22. That's why I always have an empty cardboard box in the car and use it instead of trolleys or hand baskets. Buy less shit I don't need and also avoid plastic bags which I fucking hate. Single nights at a supermarket was by far the oddest thing in the article...
