  1. The long and the short of it is Frankfurt played like a bunch of cunts. As Schalke says it was a deep bone bruise, good news i suppose.
  2. I watched it with my brother who has and he was saying they changed alot of things and reading online there was alot of the same complaints. I havent read it so I just enjoyed the ride I will agree with you about the last chunk of it although the first 2/3 or 3/4 of it I thought made up for that.
  3. Curious, did you read the book?
  4. Ive heard good things about Whitehorse that one is my radar as well. Im mostly in the same boat, Im interested in the wildlife tours and the chance to photograph some of these animals in the wild, well that and the northern lights. I havent really planned or looked into anything its just something me and the significant other have talked about over the years and in the next year or two we might actually have the chance so let me know what you get up and what you recommend after. Personally I've never been further east the TO/Montreal, I've got lots of this country left to explore. Always wanted to do a roadtrip accross Canada too.
  5. I've been to Terrace but it would have been a good 10 15 years ago for a hockey tourne, cant really give you much advice there. I havent been to Prince Rupert. I've been talking about doing a trip up north for years to Yellowknife, Yukon etc. let me know what you find worth while!
  6. Good writeup from one of our local media outlets with some background on the Davies transfer. https://theprovince.com/sports/soccer/mls/vancouver-whitecaps/art-of-the-alphonso-davies-deal-how-a-special-bond-made-for-dramatic-lucrative-transfer
  7. An oldie but a goodie, came accross it again today. Also a bit NSFW content, you've been warned.
  8. Odd looking little critters, thats really neat. Photography in general is so much waiting, that and right time right place
  9. I completely forgot about this thread great pics nudge! I love it when that happens with animals its like they want you to take their picture! Reminds me we went for a walk a few weeks ago in a flats and came accross a monarch butterfly literally landed like 2 feet from me but of course by the time i pulled out my camera it took off.
  10. Pretty much how I feel (except the Bayern part ) since hes been out of prison theres been a well documented power struggle and it needs to change in order to progress but that doesnt erase what Uli has done for the club in the past. I didnt want to give him a reasonable response but you've summed up nicely
  11. Im up to date on Yellowstone now. I love it so far, its getting better and better. Lots of back stories and backroom battles going on. Beth is an absolute nutter but alot of it makes sense now. @nudge
  12. Just watched the pilot now, I'm glad you tossed it my way. I really enjoyed the pilot theres alot going on I'll definitely keep going. It does remind me alot of The Son just a little more mix of modern day in it.
  13. I've heard of people not watching Game of Thrones but I've never encountered it in the wild. Anyways shes one of the big stars from it. Shes also adorable in alot of interviews, seems like a very down to earth gal.
  14. Oh man, King of Queens was great watching. Ill have to check this out.
  15. Jurassic World - 8/10 Despite Cannabis pissing on it I quite liked it. Im probably bias, Vincent D'onofrio is one of my favourite actors, throw in some Chris Pratt and im ready for a good time. The effects where awesome, the whole genetically modified thing was pretty sweet. Im ready for the sequel. Solo: A starwars story - 9/10 I dont care what critics say I loved it. The cast was fantastic, the story was great, the actions scenes where edge of your seat stuff. Plus Emlia Clarke is life (shes still better as a blonde) Donald Glover was actually really good which surprised me; maybe because I've watched far too much Community and I couldnt see him doing anything else. Woody Harrelson is at his usual "A" game. Get out and see this in theatres as its worth your time and money, I think it was almost as good as Rogue One.
  16. For any muppets fans out there; (also a little not safe for work!)
  17. So there was something to all those rumours of being involved when you guys got Gnabry from Arsenal. I still wonder in what capacity? Did anything more ever come out? Rummenigge: "I think the development of Gnabry is very good. At his signing two years ago, I was a bit of a ruling or directing spirit. At the 2016 Olympics, I watched the German Games intensively, and he always gave me the feeling that this could be one for #FCBayern." Rummenigge: "He has speed, a good dribbling, goal threat, he links up well. Bremen and Hoffenheim were important steps. He should not just be a backup with us now."
