Bluebird Hewitt
Hopefully we'll have the new manager bounce and win our first game away. However, I'll be more interested to see how we perform under Harris and whether we actually look any better.
Lucas
Luton is a tricky place to go but we are overdue an away win. Not seen one since Barnsley on 15th September. Hope we pick up where we left off before the Internationals because its been a little stop start and we need to put a big run together to separate from the pack. Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted November 21, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted November 21, 2019 Northampton are in really good form meanwhile we're managerless, the fans are turning against the board (nothing new), we're out of the FA Cup and haven't won a game in what feels like ages... so yeah, I'm optimistic. tlr
Barnsley haven't won in 15. Combine this with the fact we are playing them at home and I confidently predict Rovers will lose 2-0. In all seriousness though, this is an absolute must-win, no two ways about it. Lenihan back should hopefully bolster our defence and I have no doubt Walton, Bennett, Johnson and Gallagher will continue with their Brazil-esque performances. I am very wary of the 'new manager' impact for Barnsley though, arguably this is the worst time to have played them so far this season.
Bluebird Hewitt
Well Harris clearly loves the direct route. Paterson and Madine starting with a defence of Flint and Nelson. I think I'm ready to cry.
Bluebird Hewitt
1-0 Charlton. Shit defending to get the chance in the first place, though the goal itself was flukey.
Bluebird Hewitt
Possible pen shout on Paterson. Not sure whether it was or Paterson just well and truly fucked it.
Bluebird Hewitt
2-0 Charlton. We haven't looked too bad but our defence really is very concerning. Every time Charlton attack, they look like they'll score. We're also toothless up front. Paterson needs to go off and Tomlin on if we're to get anything from this match. Bluebird Hewitt
We get a pen and Hoilett literally passes it to the keeper. Fuck right off.
Bluebird Hewitt
2-1. A bit of a scrappy corner that saw Mendez snap at it and score.
Bluebird Hewitt
Madine booked for a supposed dive, even though he got straight back up.

Cannot believe no one has taken a punt on him yet. Brilliant player. I think he could easily have as good an impact as James Maddison did from Championship to Premier League. Would take him in a heartbeat if we went up.
