Maybe it would be unfortunate, but the board are not going to be pleased with this drubbing and the fact that Werder are only 2 points above the relegation zone.

The board confirmed that Kohfeldt has their full support and will remain in his position (regardless the result in the next game against Köln as well). Players can expect consequences though.

Well you will no doubt be happy with that news as I know that you are a fan of his. Hopefully Werder can bring in a few players in January. Perhaps long term targets Soucek or Bentaleb might be brought in. Either way their performances have to improve some way or another.

Dortmund needs a first class keeper.  May be the difference for them

Is Burki not a first class keeper?

He was actually great against Leipzig apart from his one howler. He made some really top class saves for them.

Hinteregger scores to give Frankfurt the lead over Koln in the 6th minute! It was a lovely finish with his left foot after he trapped the ball after the ball came to him from a corner!

Hinteregger has been such a key player for us this season.

Frankfurt 1-0 Koln

Goal Frankfurt! Paciencia scores!

It's another goal from a corner! The ball was swung in from the corner and Paciencia got his head to the ball and scored with a beautiful glancing header across goal and into the net at the far post!

Another nice goal from Frankfurt.

Frankfurt 2-0 Koln

Kostic has a shot across goal go slightly wide for Frankfurt and Hector unleashed another long range shot which just went slightly over the bar for Koln, both efforts coming just before the half-time whistle.

At half-time it's Frankfurt 2-1 Koln

Kamada almost puts Frankfurt back in the lead as he is put in through on goal but his shot is saved by Horn. Then moments later, Drexler almost scores for Koln as a bad pass by Frankfurt finds Drexler and he skips past a defender and shoots, but Wiedwald saves his shot.

It looks like a very open game now.
