I don't think Guardiola is the kind of coach to rush anyone into a position without giving them time to integrate much like Klopp got so much stick for not playing Robertson initially when he showed so much promise. The rest they say is history with regards to Andy and if Foden is close to what Pep thinks he is and hes just finding ways to integrate him then we will certainly see it when he puts him on the pitch. We have to also keep in mind that these managers are with these players every day and working with them to improve facets of their game to make them a part of their starting XI. Pep might be seeing shades of what he saw with Messi at Barcelona and his word shouldn't be taken as gospel on this matter but its what hes seeing in training everyday which may not translate to his plan for the day.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted January 16, 2020 Subscriber Posted January 16, 2020 Haven't seen anything from Foden to suggest he'll spend his career at a club of Man City's stature to be honest.
