Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 2, 2020 Subscriber Posted August 2, 2020 What did I just watch? Verstappen would have won if he didn't pit.
Administrator Stan Posted August 2, 2020 Author Administrator Posted August 2, 2020 Max could have won it had he not pit
Administrator Stan Posted August 2, 2020 Author Administrator Posted August 2, 2020 Norris & Gasly getting me some points. And obviously Hamilton. Gasly up 4 places from qualifying. Russell finishing 12th!
Moderator Tommy Posted August 2, 2020 Moderator Posted August 2, 2020 What an ending to the race. "He's a lucky boy" sums it up. But yea, now Red Bull got an extra point instead of 9 extra points. Unlucky. Quite an interesting race with many interesting things happening. Albon crashing Magnussen out, Kvyat crashing, Grosjean trying to kill Sainz... I enjoyed it. Hopefully the next one will feature the Hulk!
Moderator Tommy Posted August 2, 2020 Moderator Posted August 2, 2020 Who got DotD? I voted for Pierre.
MUFC Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Why didn't they bring Bottas in to pit straight away?

When that tire blew, the handling of that car as it began to spark up and catch fire, and then finish in 1st? Stellar performance from Lewis.
Moderator Tommy Posted August 4, 2020 Moderator Posted August 4, 2020 I knew it! Even though he apologized, I knew it wasn't his fault and most likely a tyre failure.

See, that's why ORF is better - the commentators immediately said it was a tyre puncture as it happened and they showed the slow-mo analysis of the accident showing how it happened straight after the race In all seriousness, it was a scary crash. He went straight into the wall. No tyre barriers, no armco...

Certainly a hard and scary crash, and I'm just glad he is alright.

Moderator Tommy Posted August 4, 2020 Moderator Posted August 4, 2020 The full version is even better. After Mattia's message you can see Seb slowly reaching for the radio button, and then deciding against it. And then there was a whole minute of silence before the engineer asked for a radio check. https://streamable.com/s3x2lg
