Pontus, what the fuck was that?! xD

He's got that in his locker sadly. Not really sure why he attempted that. You'd expect Ben White to pull that off but not him.

Bit lax. Unwanted pressure now.

Swansea looked down and out, I really don’t know what went through his head there

It's concentration. He does lack that at times.

But he should have launched that anywhere. Very silly boy.

Has to be said though, Brewster was there like a shot. Great finish for a lad that hardly had a sniff to that point.

Brentford need to get on the ball and have some possession. Try and take the sting out of Swansea.

That’s the issue, Brewster is class and Premier League standard imo, don’t give him a chance on a plate

Benrahma needed more composure there. Expected him to bury that. Dunno why he didn't just place it bottom corner?

Think he knows he’s going up next season and probably taking it upon himself to try and take us up with him

Brentford through!

Deserved based on tonight. Blitzed Swansea first half. Early goal second half killed it off and gave Swansea too much to do. Brainfart from Janssen the only bad point you could say for Brentford.

I think Brentford deserved that. By and large they had a decent performance.

Clinical finishing whilst Reya made some good saves to deny Swansea.

Ok, Jansson gave a silly goal away near the end but that shouldn't detract from the overall outcome.

Swansea made it interesting but you cannot defend how they did for the first and third goals and they paid the price.

If they keep most that side, including the loans and add to it, they will be back next season mind because they play the right way.

Don’t think they keep those loans with Lampard about tbh

Last game at Griffin Park, you can't say it wasn't entertaining.

Over the two legs we shut Swansea out pretty well, the first leg we were the better side, controlled the game, conceded a chance or two but overall we were the better side. The red card completely changed the game, if it wasn't for that we either come back with a 0-0 draw or a 1-0 lead. But credit to Ayew for the screamer.

But we went into this game 1-0 down and we came out immediately to perform, watching Thomas Frank speak he's hit the nail on the head. We lost to Stoke, learnt from that played better against Barnsley, lost that but learnt from that and played better in the first leg against Swansea, learnt from the first leg again and we played better tonight, this time we got the win and outside of the pressure towards the end we were the dominant side. I really like Frank's thought process, we're on an upward trajectory in terms of form and hopefully we should only get better in the final.

He's odd Thomas Frank, not one of the traditional footballing men in this country, but he's taken us on a ride, said we'd beat Swansea and we came out and beat them convincingly. You hear his thought process behind why he thought we'd win, not a degree of arrogance in that, thinks about the game on a level that a lot managers and pundits don't.

We were the better side, by a large distance for 90 minutes. The last 10 they put us under the cosh but only because we gave them an absolute gift of a goal but also because of the red card in the first leg. Emiliano Marcondes was brilliant today, kept possession so well, threaded the ball around so well, such a professional performance, watch how we kept possession in midfield with little 1-2's and 1 touch football. Brilliant.

Player for player:

David Raya - Been phenomenal since the restart, prior to that he had a run of mistakes and I can only think if we'd of done better before the break up we'd be up with Leeds. But since the restart he has been solid, made some phenomenal saves and has caught absolutely everything. Then there's his throwing and kicking, our counter attacking revolves around him at times and you saw that in the first goal.

Dalsgaard - He got the early yellow and my heart sunk, thought here we fucking go. But after that he was solid, he got forward, he tracked back, he drifted into the centre when needed, at one point he was making a headed clearance as the left back. Really intelligent defender of the ball, really proven himself more now that we have competition for him.

Jansson - That fucking goal, bloody hell. Other than that, read the game well, defensively sound, tackles made when they needed to be, headed it clear when it needed to be, passing under pressure was good. He's been brilliant for us all season and we've not seen many, if any, of those types of mistakes. Hopefully that's his last.

Pinnock - A few years ago this man was playing non-league, this season...I just think he's the best defender in the league. Not a team he wouldn't walk into. He has on many occasions single-handedly kept clean sheets or kept us down to 1 goal conceded. Tonight was another massive performance, him and Rico really done a job on Ayew. This was nearly on par with the performance against Leeds at Griffin Park, where we were outplayed but he made it so that Leeds barely had a sniff in. He done that again tonight. Fantastic.

Henry - The man himself, should never have been sent off, he stays on and we probably win that game. Definitely don't lose it. Class as always, in attack, in defence, in possession, his defensive side is so underrated. So underrated. Never seen a man so small deal with bigger players in the air with the relative ease that he does.

Norgaard - One of the best on the pitch, tackles everywhere, always looking to pass the ball forward. A defensive mid who wants to split a defence open, what a pleasure to have in your midfield. Best thing about him tonight was how he broke the game up, consistently just knicked away at the ball preventing their passing from progressing. Didn't always keep the ball but just disrupted their flow.

Marcondes - Said it above, he was class tonight. Ready for the game, big game. Winding Ayew up from the beginning, his passing, touch, composure, reading of the game, elegance on the ball...exactly what we needed today in midfield. Dominated.

Jensen - Man of the match, no question. He's not consistent, hasn't been, but today he was the best player on the pitch by a mile. His passing was elite, he won fouls with ease and intelligence, he kept possession well and everything he done was a step or two ahead of the opposition. It was top class, as a midfielder you want to watch his performance tonight because at this level you will struggle to find a better performance all season. Played his way into starting in the final.

Benrahma - Didn't score, a shame but not a massive issue. He could have had a hattrick, that's how much we dominated the game. But his overall performance was top, all over the pitch, put as much into his defensive responsibilities as his attacking, just needed to get a goal.

Watkins - I'm sorry but these comparisons with Mitrovic are so wrong, so so so wrong. Watch him perform and let me know who you'd rather have in the team. Absolutely phenomenal performance, goal scorer, creates, sets up passages of play, seems a quiet and gentle lad but riles everyone up on the pitch. Him picking Benrahma off the floor by his armpits and sending him off to defend sums it up, an absolute leader up front.

Mbeumo - No surprise he's been low on confidence, his performances haven't been great recently. But he's only 20 years old, one of the best strikers in the Championship already and took his chance and scored the winning goal. Love him, the story about the speech he wrote on his phone. How can you not love him?

Overall, for 80 minutes of the game we completely outclassed Swansea. The final ten we gave away a silly goal, which put us under unneeded pressure but we stood up to it, shut Swansea out and secured a well deserved win. What a way to see of Griffin Park, onto Wembley now.

@Stan, your favourite player scored. Super Lee Tomlin.

How offside was he. He's not hard to miss is he xD

Imagine if Fulham get a penalty. Knockaert to take it? Misses it and Tomlin scores down the other end on the break...
