Danny
I remember reading a massive piece on how the new Sunderland owner was the man to take them back to the Prem, families experience running a football club, etc etc. doesn’t make for good reading now
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted February 4, 2022 Author Subscriber Share Posted February 4, 2022 Really not sure about Keane being the man to get them out of League One but if he is, then that's great. Can't see him being the long term man for the job though - especially considering the merry-go-round at the Stadium of Light.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted February 10, 2022 Author Subscriber Share Posted February 10, 2022 Roy Keane out of the running despite two interviews. Looking towards Grant McCann (*groan*) or Alex Neil (*groan*)
Lucas
Ok, serious for a second. I actually don't know why they don't stop pissing about and just get Warnock in. IThey just want out of that league now before they stagnate and they have gone down the route of Jack Ross, Phil Parkinson and Lee Johnson to no avail. It's League One. It's a dogfight of a division but with hard graft you can get out. Someobe like Warbock coukd not only get them out, but then steady the ship and set them up first season in the Championship ready for a younger guy to take over the reigns then. Honestly, just get Warnock in, if there is a sniff of a promotion in it, he is interested. He's got the experience, he'll know what to do and if anything, he might help steer the owners in the right direction business wise because it equally sounds like they have no clue what to do. Well, he's not Homer Simpson or a pound coin, so i'd assume the former

ScoRoss
Alex Neil appointed. Seems to be a mixed reaction, judging by social media. Although not sure if that's down to the announcement taking a while or the actual appointment itself.
