N U F C Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Tough one to call. Everton have gone a bit flat after a very good start to the season and Burnley need a win or two to try and pull away from the bottom three. I wouldn't be surprised to see Burnley win this by the odd goal.
Danny Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Are my eyes deceiving me or are Burnley pressing with a high line??

Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted December 5, 2020 Subscriber Posted December 5, 2020 Very dull game to watch in the first half. The injury to Delph forced Carlo into changing their shape and it seems to have worked as their original gameplan wasn't working.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 5, 2020 Subscriber Posted December 5, 2020 I only watched the start as I had a game myself at 2pm. We're just a bit crap at the moment. We still need another player to make the midfield work if Carlo doesn't fancy Gomes. As long as Delph is still anywhere near getting a game for us we can't be taken seriously as top six contenders. The one thing Carlo is doing that's really annoying me is playing the likes of him when we've got a young alternative like Nkounkou who has impressed when he's played. Is he ready to be starting Premier League games? Of course not. But if Delph is the alternative then fucking throw him in. I'm sure there will be teams that do finish top six after dropping points at Burnley, so no disrespect to them, but the fact is they'll do it 5-6 times over a season in those sorts of fixtures and we'll do it 10-12 times and that's why we're on course to finish about 8th again this season. But September was still fun.
