DeadLinesman Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Anyone watching this apart from me and @Rick? Episode 5 was great I thought. Seems to be going from strength to strength.
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted February 7, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 7, 2021 Yes, very enjoyable so far. I’m only a couple in.
Rick Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Yeah, the previous two episodes were a real step up.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted February 8, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 8, 2021 Its all starting to make a bit of sense and now I cant wait to see the villain show themselves which I dont think is coming until much much later.
DeadLinesman Posted February 11, 2021 Author Posted February 11, 2021 I like where it’s going. Vision seems to be aware that all is not what it seems.
DeadLinesman Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 Anyone settling down for episode 6 this evening?

I think it’s because it’s now taking away the sitcom aspect and it’s becoming more serious, especially the Vision storyline. It’ll be interesting to see what will happen next week.

It was just a bit “talkey”, characters explaining what’s happening/happened rather than us seeing it. I enjoyed the stuff with Vision though.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted February 15, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 15, 2021 I am interested in seeing who Rambeau brings to help her with the hex, I was kind of hoping they'd show this person at the end of the episode but instead we see Wanda expand her reach. I am also curious who the villain here is because Wanda was never this powerful in the Avengers.
Rick Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 spoiler-ish? I thought tonight’s was the last episode and I got very angry after having finished it before realising there’s another one left.

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted February 28, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 28, 2021 Thought it was a 10 ep series and they've opened way too many possibilities that need polishing now to end it in 1 ep. NVM its only 9 eps.

Rick Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 No spoilers, but that was a poor finale. Will wait for others to watch before discussing. FYI, there are two end credits scenes.
Dave Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I'm glad so many people told me this was good as I would have given up after the first couple of episodes. I'm not a marvel person but it's made me want to watch the marvel films in order. Enjoyed it just as much as Cobra Kai.

Dr. Gonzo Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 I've spent all week trying to watch Marvel films so I can watch this and understand what the fuck is going on. Is Ant-Man important at all?

Dont think you really needed to watch too many Marvel films to catch up on it all but yeah it was a bit ... weird for lack of a better word. Still, its the first of a few shows that starts to bring in the new Phase so we'll have to wait till around the fifth character drop to see any real traction here if past films/shows are anything to go by.

I binged watched the entire series last weekend and really enjoyed it. I think I would have been reluctant to carry on if I was watching it a week apart for each episode though.

Nice, I ended up watching it anyways though I will probably keep finishing the films before I get started since I’ve already come so far. Black Panther tonight

Dave Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 I've just watched Avengers Age of Ultron and I wish someone told me the legend that is Vision was in it so I could learn his back story whilst sober.
