Waylander Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 I saw a couple of rows get up and walk up the aisle though only had one view from the stream.

Although I'm still not totally sold on Arteta, he's certainly been the better appointment. Ancelotti really disappointed me tbh. Nothing against him leaving for Real Madrid but some of his sarcastic comments have been a disgrace and he really did nothing whilst he was there. Arsenal big favourites for tonight, Goodison won't be nice. I thought Ancelotti got the best out of DCL turning him form a prospect to one of the best young strikers in the EPL.

Didn't see the first disallowed goal but I thought that latest one wasn't meant to be disallowed any more? Everton hard done by there. Harsh.
Bluewolf Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Not again??? Everton having no luck are they...

I missed the first one because I went to go get a glass of water, so no comment on that one Second one seems harsh but before they put the lines, I thought he looked offside. But... that's not how VAR is meant to work. But I think you're right that the "closer" decisions were meant to favour the attackers so the officials have probably fucked that up I think.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 6, 2021 Subscriber Posted December 6, 2021 If his foot is off the ground and the diagonal camera angle is making it look like it's on the line and level with the defender then it's off but I personally can't tell. Knew it would be disallowed the second the review started though.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 6, 2021 Subscriber Posted December 6, 2021 The first one was definitely off by the way, I don't think anyone is debating that.

More goals is more good. Don't like the idea of a goal being taken away because of camera angle magic making a difference in moments of the thinnest margins like that. I think as soon as they showed the first replay of it as it was being reviewed, my initial reaction was "he's offside" hence the post - but seeing it with the lines made me question the fuck out of whether it was actually off or not.
Bluewolf Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 You can understand the frustrations with marginal offsides but it's equally frustrating to see players well off side and totally clueless about where they are...
Bluewolf Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Arsenal the time wasting fuckers.... players that go down with cramp and such like should be taken off to the side and left off the field for 5 minutes..

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 6, 2021 Subscriber Posted December 6, 2021 Need to keep our discipline here. I'm all for a bit of blood and thunder but we're fucked if we go down to ten and can't be having more players unavailable. Is this 1-1?
Dr. Gonzo Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 I don't think they'll be taking that one away from Everton
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 6, 2021 Subscriber Posted December 6, 2021 Definitely onside. Go and get the win now, these have been properly shite. Great initial save by Ramsdale too by the way.
Administrator Stan Posted December 6, 2021 Author Administrator Posted December 6, 2021 Aubameyang should have scored.
Bluewolf Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Arsenal can play alright when they are not focused on time wasting...
Administrator Stan Posted December 6, 2021 Author Administrator Posted December 6, 2021 Wow what a goal
