So with this intervention from the FIA, which I take to understand means the teams with the most bouncing will be forced to increase their ride height and therefore lose performance, that's going to hit Mercedes perhaps the hardest. Who else?

I hope not..

For the sake of competition, I hope both RB and Ferrari won't be affected by it while I also hope Mercedes suffer as much as possible. I think a lot will depend on which metrics the FIA are going to use, how exactly will they calculate it, and what they will deem to be an acceptable level of vertical oscillation.

Is this new directive going to be implemented in Canada already?

There's 13 more races to go. 😅

The next big upgrade packages could be crucial.

Max has been flawless. I really do hope they can put up a fight.
