Seem to be sitting on the lead now. Big risk.

I think it's more a case of France pressing forward. But England need a second. Its almost impossible not to concede with this much pressure

Germany who have won the tournament 6 times in a row have been knocked out by Denmark.

Germany's been piss poor this tournament. Even when they won they played bad.

England are probably favourites but any of the teams left could win it. Going to be hard playing a semi on Thursday and a final on Sunday who ever gets through

I watched them against Italy. Thought they played Ok. I think they are in transition at the moment they will be back. I don't think they will win 6 Euro's in a row again though because women's football is much more competitive than it use to be and other teams are closing the gap. Before Germany could get away with having a bad game because they were so much better than the opossition even if they had a really good game Germany would still win. Where as now they can't.

less pressure on them, especially from the meiia.

True but they were under a lot of  personal pressure today because they would have known if they win they have a great chance of winning the tournament. But I still did feel very proud of them today and it has been a long time since I felt that way about the mens team
