Bluebird Hewitt Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 Not expecting anything here, but it'll be a chance to see how our new look team will fair against one of the promotion favourites.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted July 25, 2022 Subscriber Posted July 25, 2022 Always unpredictable when it's a new season and difficult to gauge where you're at when you've just been promoted. Our pre-season has been good and we've made some good transfer business so I'm confident we can at least put up a fight and grab at least a point.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted July 29, 2022 Subscriber Posted July 29, 2022 Burnley absolutely murdering Huddersfield here.
N U F C Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Hard to believe Burnley have only scored once. Playing some very good stuff under Kompany.
Administrator Stan Posted July 30, 2022 Author Administrator Posted July 30, 2022 Cracking strike from Travis for Blackburn.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted July 30, 2022 Subscriber Posted July 30, 2022 Half time and 0-0 for Grimsby. We've definitely had more chances so confident we can get 3 points but I'd be happy with 1.
Administrator Stan Posted July 30, 2022 Author Administrator Posted July 30, 2022 Deadlock broken by Cardiff. Sawyers scores.
Administrator Stan Posted July 30, 2022 Author Administrator Posted July 30, 2022 Orient score their first penalty in 100 games. Missed their last 5!
Administrator Stan Posted July 30, 2022 Author Administrator Posted July 30, 2022 Sounds like a good game at Hillsborough. Portsmouth currently leading 3-2 after being 1-0 and 2-1 down.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 This ref is a fucking disgrace. If we lose, it'll be purely down to him.
Administrator Stan Posted July 30, 2022 Author Administrator Posted July 30, 2022 Connor Hourihane gets Derby's first goal in League One. 5 minutes ago, Bluebird Hewitt said: This ref is a fucking disgrace. Administrator Stan Posted July 30, 2022 Author Administrator Posted July 30, 2022 Hanley red card for Norwich. Both teams down to 10. Ched Evans sent off for Preston...

Wouldn't say he lost control, but basically gave everything to Norwich, even if we did a similar sort of challenge shortly after. That feistiness part was a joke as well. A foul on Pukki (who was pretty much throwing himself to the floor all game) pretty much started it off and it saw Ralls, Ng and Rinomhota booked for us, with Hanley (who floored Ng) booked when he arguably should have been sent off. As for the game itself, very impressive from us when you consider that 8 of the 11 were making their competitive debut under Morison. We were lacking up front (which is where I'm hoping we make a couple more signings), some passes went astray and there was some sloppiness in giving the ball away cheaply, but we looked good considering the years of direct football and possession wise, we held our own when we would normally have about 30% and got twatted about 4-0.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Also, here is Lee Tomlin embarrassing himself. https://mobile.twitter.com/Mattyp45/status/1553393769399160833

Bluebird Hewitt Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 Sunderland take the lead against Coventry. What was Moore doing for the cross?
Administrator Stan Posted July 31, 2022 Author Administrator Posted July 31, 2022 Quality equaliser from Gyokeres for Coventry. Deserved, really.

Dave Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 My takes watching the highlight show: - Burnley played slick football - Norwich very underwhelming - Wallace and Swift look settler very quickly - Boro Wing Backs look great - Blackburn don't seem scared to shoot from anywhere - Obafemi miss was hilarious - Hull's penalty was hilarious
Danny Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 We sent Paris Maghoma on loan to AFC Wimbledon and let's just say he looks like he's a cut above League 2 already
