Moderator Tommy Posted January 11, 2022 Moderator Share Posted January 11, 2022 He's still going! Btw, he's also the inspiration behind the Captain Tsubasa Mangas/Animes from the 80s.

Michael
I mentioned Kazu Miura on this forum back in early 2020, and how incredible it was that he was still playing at 53. But at 55, for him to still be playing football at a relatively high level and joining a Portuguese 2nd division club, just shows how incredible his achievement really is. He will be 56 in February, not long now.

OrangeKhrush
not a major signing but I found this to be fascinating. 55 years old and still playing professional football, take a bow https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/64488275

Devil
Can only be playing now through novelty. Fair play to him for keeping active but in this case I think that be why clubs are signing him.

He says that he still wants to continue playing professionally until he is 60! Well, good luck to him and it looks like we will be talking about his endeavours at football clubs, for several years to come.
