Trevor Francis Passes Away

Very sad news. Think his legacy will be his time as the first 1 million player to transfer between two English clubs at Forest, but that doesn't overshadow the rest of his career.

This is really sad news. Trevor Francis was an excellent footballer, but he was also a real gentleman off of the field. I always used to enjoy listening to him whenever he did interviews and when he was a pundit. I am obviously not old enough to have seen him play live on TV, but even as a kid in the 90's I enjoyed listening to the man. Trevor Francis was a real gentleman of the sport and it's really sad that he has died at the age of only 69. We have sadly lost another legend of the sport too early. My thoughts go out to his family and to his loved ones.

RIP Trevor Francis

Always liked him as a co-commentator. Perfect voice and tone for it.

Same. Obviously never saw him play (like most of us), but liked listening to what he had to say on TV.

R.I.P

I echo others on here about him being a pundit and 69 is a pretty young age.. shame, you just never know when it's going to be your time do you..

He will always be remembered to me for the 5-0 win against Brighton and signing Andy Johnson.

He also punched our GK at the time Kolinko because he was laughing when we conceded a goal (he had been dropped for this game), which seemed really out of character.
