If this article is correct this decision might have  juridical consequences and not be as sacrosact as the first reports suggested.

Especially the part about "Bösgläubigkeit der DFL" might have serious implications.

Yes, this is the point I tried to make, perhaps poorly, on Discord.  The league has to ensure that 50+1 was followed.  If "the child" voted yes when he was instructed not to then he has defied 50+1 and the league cannot allow the results of the vote to stand.

Well here's an additional juridical issue, concerning the vote: If the DFL decided conciously the vote to be secret to give Kind the opportunity to vote yes although the club instructed him to vote no, than this "Bösgläubigkeit" might have legal repurcassions for the DFL officials. This would be hard to prove, granted.

After Stuttgart, Rostock, Karlsruhe, Union, Braunschweig, Hertha BSC, Köln, St Pauli, Hannover, and Osnabrück are Schalke now already the 11th out of the 36 DFL clubs advocating a re-vote regarding the introduction of investor negotiations. The fan protests seem to be paying off.

This, or the DFB sports reaction to it to be more accurate, might have a juridical aftermath. DfB sports court subjected those clubs whose supporters protested with fines. Now Vfl Osnabrück have risen an objection and are considering to bring a lawsuit against those fines before a regular court. Among other things they're arguing the fan's protests would be backed by their right of freedom of expression.

Well it's 1.16 Bill Euros a season at the moment, which indeed is money.

Yeah it's a fair whack. England's is 1.95bil euros a season (well is from 2025 to 2029) albeit that's between two teams more. I don't think another league gets more money than Germany other than England but could be wrong.

Which is explicable considering Germany have over 80 m inhabitants, while Italy, France , and Spain have less than 70M each
