Moderator Tommy Posted October 19, 2017 Moderator Share Posted October 19, 2017 Köln vs. Bremen is what we'd call "Not gegen Elend" in Germany.
SchalkeUK
That's OK as long as the Elend does not rest in Nudgeland
Subscriber nudge+ Posted October 19, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted October 19, 2017 Pizarro to score a winner. For Köln Seriously though, it's a must win for us.
Smiley Culture
I hate to use footballing clichès but Köln v Werder Bremen is as close as you can get to a must win for Köln. A defeat opens up a six-point gap between them and Bremen and even at this stage of the season, it seems a large amount to be clawing back. With a lack of attacking threat in Yuya Osaka, Sehrou Guirassy and Jhon Cordoba, it's up to the aging Claudio Pizarro to score, unless Bremen's defenders fancy scoring some own goals. There were some mutterings of discontent in Borisov from Köln fans so a defeat here will surely see some form of change take place, whether that's Peter Stöger or Jörg Schmadtke. Still, they have the lead 1:0 Bayern never looked totally convincing in 100% of the match they won. That's kind of part of the "Bayerndusel" that they are constantly winning matches their rivals could only hope to draw.
Subscriber nudge+ Posted October 22, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted October 22, 2017 Pizarro was supposed to start against us, but apparently he can't due to an injury. *sigh of relief*
Moderator Tommy Posted October 22, 2017 Moderator Share Posted October 22, 2017 0-0, just as I predicted.
Subscriber nudge+ Posted October 22, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted October 22, 2017 With the amount of chances created by both teams in the last 15 minutes, any other match would have ended 3-3 at least. Oh well. So frustrating. I prefer Werder that scores and concedes a shitload over this shit.
binder
Yeah it was terrible. That miss by Guilassy would have been an impossible, super, great defensive clearance , had he been defending.
