2024-2025 sack race

Two away wins since March. He’s crap. Once their away form goes to shit, he’ll be gone.

If he was crap he would've failed massively last season. Losing their best ever player and still finishing above some big clubs was decent. Agreed that away form hasn't been great, but I don't think he's getting sacked anytime soon.

Wonder if Cooper is a low key shout here now. Ipswich away next following a dire loss at home to Forest. This is a bloke who the fans aren't on board with, the players aren't on board with and was appointed under the assumption of a points deduction that never arrived. I wouldn't say it's likely but I think circumstance probably goes against him quite a bit. The flip side is our board are binary and will just see us not in the bottom three and assume all is OK.

One away win post-Christmas essentially killed their Champions League chances and a pot of whatever ghastly sum they’d have earned. Such honking away form has meant they’ve now won two away games this calendar year. Their run to Christmas sees them playing City, Villa, Chelsea and Liverpool and if they get nothing from those and continue being disgraceful away from home, coupled with his “I always win something in my second season”, which will quite possibly see them out of one cup tomorrow evening, then he’s on borrowed time.

Frankly, it’s pretty shameful that they’re that woeful away, with or without Kane. They’ve enough resources and financial power to not turn out 10pts from 15 away games.

Eddie Howe at 16/1 looks the best value to me at the moment. Glasner, Lopetegui and Dyche will get time now and I think Wolves have the fixtures to go on a good run to save O'Neil.

Russell Martin looks likely but if Southampton decide to just accept relegation and stick with him, Howe isn't impossible. They've gone really stale under him and it's gone under the radar.

Still in that cup, for now.
