nudge Posted September 19 Posted September 19 All of them are pretty much the same to me now, but I still voted Friday, because back when I was in school, uni or had a normal regular job, Friday always held the promise of a weekend full of fun and free time. Friday = hope & freedom 1 Quote

Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted September 20 Subscriber Posted September 20 Saturday, when I was working down South, long hours (12/14 hrs a day) and when my shift finished on a Friday night I looked forward to going home and switching off for the weekend and on the Saturday I would hit the pubs and clubs with the wife. Subscriber Dan+ Posted September 20 Subscriber Posted September 20 Saturday. Friday's a bit tainted by the fact I actually have to go into the office and it's the only day I do. It's not that it's that bad going in, but I just can't vote that as the best day with this being the case. Saturday's where the magic happens. Quote
Administrator Stan Posted September 20 Administrator Posted September 20 Saturday shades it. After working all week, I can spend a proper and full day with my son, usually at home. More often than not it's Sunday that we'll do things going out and about. Saturday also brings about sport, and mainly football to watch. Bit of a lie-in, get a few jobs done, maybe go shopping, then sit down and chill for a good few hours with footy on in the background while doing stuff with family. Friday is the closest, as similar to mentioned above, it's the knowledge that the weekend is just round the corner when work finishes... 1 Quote

Remind's me of when I worked down South (Southend-on-Sea) and our son & daughter were wee nippers, especially summer time, getting up early and spending practically all day down Southend Arcades and rides with the wife and kids, nostalgic memories that.
