MUFC
Just curious, in sprint races getting overtakes is difficult as they're shorter races. Why have a s sprint race on a track like this?

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted Saturday at 14:37 Subscriber Share Posted Saturday at 14:37 Pretty boring sprint race. This isn't a great track for overtaking and sprints aren't great in general. Leclerc and Hamilton at least had a good battle.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted Sunday at 17:18 Subscriber Share Posted Sunday at 17:18 Norris gets a 10 SECOND STOP GO penalty for not slowing down by about half a second under yellow flag . Stewards have lost their minds this weekend. Max's qualifying penalty was stupid as well.

Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted Sunday at 17:40 Subscriber Share Posted Sunday at 17:40 Thought some of the penalties this weekend have been extremely harsh. I'm sure some of the infringements we saw (Verstappen, Norris, Hamilton) are definitely penalties but we've seen those offences happen in recent years and yet I cannot remember the last time we saw a stop and go penalty. Dave Posted yesterday at 06:25 Share Posted yesterday at 06:25 Bit of a joke thanks to the FIA. What's the point of the safety car if they can't be deployed at a moments notice?

What's the point of the safety car if they can't be deployed at a moments notice? The guy in charge of the FIA is a clown and things are starting to come to a head. The drivers wrote an angry letter to them over the silly fines and punishments they've been getting for swearing in occasional press conferences, the race director was suddenly dismissed after Las Vegas and replaced by a newbie for this race, but yes, even for a first-time race director, the indecision over getting a safety car out for that wing mirror was absolutely bizarre. Everyone watching the race at home could see it was needed just from the TV footage and they've got all the extra data and information to make the decision. It's a bit of a clown-show at the moment. A lot of other people have left the FIA in recent weeks and months on top of those mentioned above and it all seems to go back to Bin Sulayem or whatever he's called. Not a very well-liked man and it seems all of the people that stand between his massive ego and him having an actual impact on the day-to-day running and spectacle of F1 seem to be running out.
